So lucky to have this neighborhood spot! The pork fried rice is delicious and reminds me of NY Chinese takeout.

Recently moved to the area, in search of a great new Chinese restaurant. Came across Hop-Bo. The ordering process was easily... accomplished online. The food was expressly bland. The fried rice was not very tasty. The spare ribs were dry. The orangeRangoon mixture was very sweet and I don?t believe it had any crab in them. I?ll keep searching the area Read more

This WAS a great place for many years, pre-covid, but it appears to have declined in recent times. Years ago this place provided... excellent customer service and some of the best food. While I can't comment on the food lately, due to the phone never beinganswered by the restaurant and DoorDash orders being canceled and refunded often, I've given up trying to order from this place. And given how the restaurant owner commented on these reviews expressing how he doesn't care about opinions, which is the wholepurpose of reviews, then we can expect there won't be any positive change going forward for this place to climb up again.Businesses rise and fall all the time, and it appears this one is well on its decline. If you want great Hop Bo, order from theone on Hoffner/Conway. All these hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants are the same anyways no matter where you go, same food, same menu, interior etc, ya won't know the difference. They're franchises sponsored by the CCP, and they pull in all theirimmediate family members to run the place, then over time they open another store and one of them branches off and takes overthat store, then they invite more family members ans close friends to run the place, and so on. The process repeats over andover again. ???? FACTS Read more

Good food. Good service. No dine in. I suggest to call in your order for pick up or delivery because otherwise the Barbershop... next door will aggressively advertise to you while waiting for food. Food only took 10 minutes but it was long enough for Angelto come over and aggressively advertise Elite Barbershop next door. Read more

I have been coming to this place for years and today will be the last time I spend money here worst customer service ever...... It's a same but the fact that the food is good doesn't matter if you have zero customer service skills.. it's a shame anddisgusting with out customers there wouldn't be a restaurant just REMEMBER that! Lunch special well worth the price. Pork fried rice some of the best in town. Shrimp in lobster sauce comes in the styrofoam... container, so beware of spillage when driving home. Still very tasty! Update: sesame chicken tasted like it was microwaved, definitely not fresh. Shrimp toast tasted burnt like the oil was old. The chicken wings and the Mongolian beef was the best andfresh. The Egg roll and the prok fried rice was good. The crab raggoon should have more filling. They are a hit or miss spot, but if you're hungry you will just eat it. I recommend trying each item before leaving the building and returning anything thatdoesn't taste right. Read more
