Son and I enjoyed our dinner and our server sky top notch service all the staff was friendly and attentive. Since Hooters seem to be shutting down all over the West Coast...better hit one up when in Florida. I'd be shocked if they... started closing in Florida seeing its the birthplace! Even though its Orlando and not Clearwater... First impression for ourvisit during lunch time hours on a Friday...not impressed. Servers seemed to be distracted and lacked energy unless you'relocal they're familiar with. Luckily Antonella, was nice and kept an eye on our table and cups. I still can't believe they gotrid of the 911 sauce for their wings. This is where I just knew Antonella was either told wrong or was misleading. There is noway it would be wise to take a lesser spice level (3 Mile Island) and turn it into the hotter (911) sauce. Anyone who knows meand Hooters...EVERY single time that I went to ANY Hooters... 10 wings Breaded 911 Extra wet All celery 2 Ranches These wingswith the 3 Mile whatever...didn't even cut it. Yes I ate them, but not the same with the heat level. There is one hotterlevel...but that sauce was the next one above 911. I know my limits and 911 was the best with heat and flavor. But it snot acomplete loss folks! Everyone else (5 of us total) did actually enjoy our meals and they were good as good as it could be. Notthe greatest, but definitely not the worst. I've always had a great experience and wonderful food at Hooters restaurants since the very beginning. But this particular... Hooters restaurant in Orlando very close to the Orlando International Airport is absolutely the best! Which is saying somethingsince they are all good. We always get fantastic service, great quality food and large portions! Anna "Banana" took care of usmost recently and she was absolutely professional but also super fun and it was a 100% perfect experience! It's not the placeto go if you're looking for bargain basement prices, but have to say the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity offood. We actually took more home than we ate which means we got four to six meals instead of two. Another sort of intangiblethat I think sets the great restaurants apart from the average is that the other servers often stop by to make sure thateverything's okay. To me that puts it above 100% when the entire staff is looking after your quality and timeliness of service!Seems to be pretty common with almost all Hooters - which is fantastic! Nearly every time I pick up friends from the OrlandoInternational Airport we stop by Hooters because it's so incredibly good! This Hooters by far is the best that I have been to, minus the Syracuse Carousel Mall circa 2002. The restaurant was clean, ... smaller, very cozy, and welcoming. I was greeted promptly and escorted to th bar as I was dining alone. Then my beverage/beerorder was taken by Amanda. I can see why she is a corporate trainer. My beer was perfectly poured and served with a smile. Iplaced my order for 6 breaded hot chicken wings. They came out in a short amount of time nice and hot, crispy and coated withlots of their delicious sauce.There were plenty of napkins and a couple off moisties to clean up. We just got off the boat on our Disney Cruise, its located next to lots Hotel's which helps when you looking for walking... distance. Wings are always good here, and service was nice. Even brought my daughter and mother so it was a family friendlyenvironment, which was nice to see during mid afternoon. I have not been to Hooters in about 10 years. While I was visiting Florida I thought this would be a great place to go a... sunshine state full of energy full of life great people but when I walked in the Hooters those ladies even though they look niceseem like they were unhappy and did not want to be there. And when they look like that trust me the service is like that. Theservice could have been better if you're going to carry the name Hooters you need to carry it with value in your work. The foodwas okay a little pricey for what you get so you're probably better off going to Buffalo wild wings. But back to the staff Istood there waiting to be seated not one person come by to greet me to say hello or anything I waited for like 10 minutes andthe place wasn't even busy. 10 minutes I waited before someone finally came over to ask me how many of my party. Not sure whatwas going on I was dressed casual I did have my backpack because I was headed to the airport but I don't think I was overdressedor underdressed and I don't think I was out of place that much even though I have my backpack with me. But as I stated the staffjust was not seeming foods of being there. Not sure what was going on or if things have gotten that bad since covid that they'rejust hiring anybody now I don't know. But at least crack a smile and if you didn't brush your teeth put some false ones in. Butwow it was a shocker. I'm going to give Hooters another try but I seriously doubt I'm going to try that location. I'm going totry another location to see. You know what they say looks are not always everything and the old saying you don't come to Hootersfor the wings put in this case, I don't know what else you going for because there's nothing else there.
