I love Haitian food especially when it?s cooked right. This place was fairly new when i first seen it, the sign said Open so i... tried to go in. There was a man and woman there seeing me at the door & not once did they say they?re closed. Never acknowledgedme i guess because they was quote on quote cleaning up. 1st impression please follow it. I still decided i wanted to try thembecause i was in the area & did not want to go to the Haitian place i normally go to across town. I ordered conch & rice for $20something dollars. As I was looking over the menu, I noticed how expensive the food was. I mentioned outloud, the owner told me " the quality of... the food is why I prized it that way". I don't mind going to a steakhouse once a while to pay for quality and service.....Weexchanged a few ideas about investments, prizes, and discussed a few other topics. My Lalo was burnt to the first bite till thelast part. My rice was full of GRATIN . I didn't see no quality from this food to the food that they're selling at TI MACHÈ inMiami for $7-10. Read more
This was my 1st experience of Haitian food. I've always heard about it. The reviews were always awesome. I had to see for... myself. Omg the was well worth the wait. The fish, rice, pasta and pikliz had me wanting more. I will definitely be back. Read more
I used to love this restaurant very much but today I was extremely disappointed and will no longer support them. They served one... lousy piece of oxtail for the oxtail dish and it had no salad. The legume tasted badly burnt plus I could see the burnt blackpieces in the food. It was supposed to be served with white rice but they sent soggy rice and peas. When I called to speak withthem, the woman I spoke with was not customer friendly. Read more
