After Manzanos closed, we went on the hunt for a new sub shop. Sadly, this isn?t it. The grinder and the Turkey, Ham and cheese... subs we got were both in desperate need of salt, pepper, Mayo and - flavor. The bread was store-bought, low grade (read: Itisn?t Pub Sub quality). I could do this at home, sadly. The large Dr. Pepper I ordered was watered down so that was a nicetouch. Dill pickles were a bit off in flavor. No thank you. Read more

Cute little find. Old fashioned sub stop. The white bread is very good! Soft and perfect for a nice bite. Since it was our first... visit we didn?t know what came on the sandwiches and they can be rather skimpy. For example the turkey sub comes with turkeypickles onions lettuce and mayonnaise. Kind of an odd combination, but if you want anything else, it?s all add-ons. There?slittle to no help from the persons making the subs to let you know what?s on the sub, and/ or if you wanted to add anything.Sort of an awkward exchange, as there?s also nowhere to see what is on the sub that you?re ordering. So, in the end we got askimpy sandwich that we decided the bread was the best part of it. I guess if you?re a local, you?re supposed to know everythingabout what comes with each sub and you should already know what you want, but if you?re from out of town and it?s your firsttime make sure to get it the way you want it because the way comes is probably not gonna be your preference. A little bit moreengaging customer service would?ve been nice. Read more

Decided to give this place a try since I work so close to it. I was a bit disappointed with my buffalo chicken sub. It just... seem like it was just slapped together, I thought the chicken would have been chopped up more. I will say I enjoyed the curlyfries and the buffalo sauce was good. Read more

This place has been here forever and I pass it every day on the work commute. Have to thank my frat brother Mario for... introducing me to the wonderful food. It's a College Park landmark and always full of locals every time I've stopped in. Woulddefinitely recommend pulling in here to grab a sub or 2. Subs are always on point here. My favourites are the turkey sub and nowthe cheese steak with hot peppers. Brought my son here for his first visit today and he loves the mozzarella sticks and grilledcheese. He kept stealing my fries too. Also try the Arnold Palmer (unsweetened tea option) or the Winnie Palmer (if you likesweet tea). Best drinks they have ???? Staff has always been super friendly and helpful every visit. Real old school mom andpop neighbourhood sandwich shop and you can tell they know their customers. Read more
