The food tastes really good, servers are friendly. It becomes a must-go restaurant when I go to Orlando.

Terrible food. Ordered beef noodles soup (so bland and beef is unbelievably dry) fried tofu ( unedible!! They put a teaspoon of... raw garlic on every piece! I love garlic but u can't eat it) braised Pork belly with rice freaking terrible (so bland they putOyster sauce on top for the flavor, ridiculous. Popcorn chicken was pretty good but I wouldn't go there to buy that either. Somany great Chinese restaurants right around there choose somewhere else. And due to them being so slow they don't turn on theair conditioning. Makes the visit even more frustrating lol Read more

Ordered to go. Taste is subjective but? Pork chop rice was missing the minced pork on the rice, came with radish instead. The... pork chop itself is quite different from my expectation and it is more like a Japanese tonkatsu then Taiwanese pork chop. Theslow cooked item dry tofu is totally different from the picture and what I expected it to be. They also did not have theirregular sausage due to supply issue, not their fault. The positive. Oyster omelette was decent. The milk fish soup was alsoreally good. Was not able to dine in. Take out only. Read more

Formosan Garden, formerly known as Teriyaki House, is located in the Golden Sparkling Plaza mall on West Colonial. The... restaurant serves Taiwanese cuisine, and it is a gem of a place in Orlando. Taiwanese cuisine is big on fried and braiseddishes. My favorite at Formosan is their Braised beef brisket with rice (combination box), beef noodle soup, and their bean curd& sliced pork. The braised beef is very tender and delicious. It goes well with their rice and noodle dishes. I can't wait tocome back (been back twice) to try other dishes. Also, they cook their dishes on order, which means that everything is fresh. Itcan take up to 30 minutes in advance if you don't call ahead. If you have time to spare, try visiting the New Golden Sparklingsupermarket as it is located a few stores down or Boba Queen for some delicious boba tea. Read more
