Stopped to have a breakfast at FK today. Service was great and all of the staff, very polite and friendly. The owner came and... spoke with us for a few minutes, very pleasant experience. Food was very good but if you go to this restaurant be hungry,portions are very .. very large. So large they have a split fee if your not feeling that hungry. My only criticism of the mealwas my coffee. My first cup was almost cold and second only a little hotter. I like my coffee a bit hotter the they serveit. The food out weights the colder coffee. Plus the FK stands for foster kids .. so you can also donate and pay for fosterkids or homeless meals. I think the elusive panda is vacationing in Orlando. Read more
When you walk in you?re overwhelmed. In a good way. The food is literally dripping in flavor and made with love (is the only... appropriate way to describe it) l. The food portions. Are huge. Like insanely huge, be forewarned. If you have a big appetite,it?s perfect for you. I was the only one in our group that was able to finish everything. No surprise. They also have somecreative and fun drinks definitely try them, a little unbalanced but worth the experience. The staff was so friendly and theylove the fact that they work there. The restaurant has a really good purpose behind it, be sure to ask them to explain it toyou. Definitely a great little find will be back, if I?m in the area! Read more
This place was extremely busy when we came in. They were nice and efficient. Their portion sizes are absolutely huge!definitely... worth your money! The potatoes were perfectly cooked! We've been meaning to go since they opened but kept forgetting. Today we made it and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the... portions were HUGE, the service was fantastic. Totally enjoyable experience. Definitely will be back. Update: this is becomingour go to breakfast spot! After multiple visits it remains awesome. The food, service, everything is consistently great. Just visited FK Your Diet for breakfast and we loved it more than expected, and we were coming in expecting it to be awesome.... The most authentically friendly service we?ve had in a long time. The food was absolutely perfect too. Crispy potatoes,delicious warm donuts, and the best sausage gravy with biscuits I?ve ever had. My wife got the avocado toast and loved it. Theservings were huge, but high quality. Everything was hand made from scratch, and it showed in the flavors and prep. All thatand they do a ton for the foster kid (FK) and the homeless community. If you haven?t tried it and you?re looking for a uniquebreakfast place, give it a shot. Can?t wait to go back! Read more
Absolutely amazing. Quite possibly my favorite place ever. From their story to their name to the amazing food I love everything... about this place. The owners came out and spoke with us. The breakfast burrito was the size of the plate. The chocolate peanutbutter donut was life changing. Please support this amazing restaurant and everything they do for the community. Read more
I actually underestimated this place. I've read the reviews and determined that it was mediocre at best. I read that the country... steak breakfast was lacking in flavor with much to be desired. ALL WRONG. This place was awesome. Very attentive staff and thefood was ON POINT. The pictures didn't do justice for the portions. It was HUGE!!!! I normally start my meals by seasoning thefood before tasting it. I tried it first and definitely didn't need seasoning. Everything was seasoned to perfection. My onlydownside for this place is that I couldn't eat it all. Trust me, I wanted to but couldn't. "Not their fault." The prices aredefinitely not in line with the portions and I think they are losing out so give a nice tip because it's for a good cause.Helping kids by eating great food. I love this concept. We were truly excited about our visit to FK your Diet. It didn?t live up to the hype for us. We started with a half order of... Biscuits and Gravy and they were delicious. We added a little of the house hot sauce to give it a little kick. I ordered theFuzzy Breakfast sandwich with sausage and potatoes. The sandwich was huge with double egg and meat and hearty serving ofpotatoes. The scrambled eggs tasted like powdered eggs. We inquired and found that they prescramble the eggs and keep in warmer.I had to request the sandwich remade with a fried egg instead. My husband ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Benny and grits.The chicken thigh was beat thin and lots of breading and lukewarm. He had to send the grits back, because they were ice cold. Hedidn?t eat the sandwich and expressed that he didn?t enjoy. After thinking about the amount spent on the meal not enjoyed, myhusband asked for some gravy to add least eat the biscuit. A side of gravy was brought out along with a ticket for it. We weresurprised that we were being asked to pay for it seeing as we had to send back multiple items. I doubt we will return, but IF wewould return, it would only be for the biscuits, sausage gravy and potatoes. Read more
