I had Dave's Hot Chicken on the west coast some time ago, and was excited to see one in the Orlando area randomly. I had to stop... in and the food was exactly what I remembered. The staff was friendly, my order came out quickly and was piping hot and tasty.The level of salt/spice pushes the border of what's too much a bit, depending on your taste profile it may be a bit too much.There is both indoor and outdoor seating. First time at this chain, I ordered chicken tender and slider combo the hot variety. They have other sauces both hotter and... milder. The slider came on a nice bun and the tender came on a piece of white bread. The crinkle cut fries were a little bitspicy which I like, and they were very good. The kosher dill pickle slices on the side were very good as well. Don't order "hot"unless you really do like spicy food because it was hot. The slider came with slaw and pickles on it and was excellent! Again"hot" is pretty spicy so be careful. I paid $15.78 without a soda, including a tip. Honestly two people could share this platterand it would be enough for lunch. Would definitely recommend and will return next time I visit Orlando. Read more
Atmosphere was nice, especially the outdoor dining. No car traffic and a good number of tables. Tenders were very meaty and... ample amount of fixings for there sliders. Sauce used for the sliders are a nice touch to the presentation. Frys were crisp andjust the right temperature. Not to hot but hot. Read more
As of today, I would definitely visit again. I must have visited on a good day. The fries are good. The sliders are nice sizes ,... so nice I was able to split the meal with my daughter. We both eat lite. I received my food fast and fresh with a crunch. Mydaughter said it was basically a hot Chick-fil-A sandwich with slaw, sauce, and pickles and enjoyed every bite. I enjoyed theiruniqueness. The meals are 11.99 and up without the drink. You have to choose your heat level for your chicken ranging fromlite-mild to reaper. If you order the chicken tenders, you can order different levels of heat for each of them, you can getone mild and the other hot. Read more
The staff was nice, and the food was good. This was my first time at a Dave?s Hot Chicken. The cashier explained to me in depth... about the menu and spice levels. I got the ?medium? which was the perfect level for me. Fun Fact: this is the only location inFlorida. Read more
Decided to give this new place a shot since I've heard nothing but rave reviews of them all over social media. I'll make this... quick and easy: Food Quality: Top notch. The ingredients and seasonings are wonderful. The different heat levels are veryaccurate; if you make your way up from lowest to hottest, you can definitely tell the difference. Customer Service: All theemployees working at this location that night were very courteous, helpful with any mistakes, and did a great job from how Iwatched them deal with others besides me and my friend. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I feel like they coulddo a better job with organizing the flow of customers as well as the way they handle keeping track of orders. Should have abetter system in place, monitors for tracking, also since it gets PACKED, they should have a screen outside for people to seewhen their order is ready so everyone is not all jam packed inside. AMAZING!!!. Now that I got that out the way. This place is one of a kind literally because it's the only one in Florida. The... chicken spice and tenderness of the chicken makes this place great. Not much choices to choose from so just pick your spicelevel and wait for your mouth to go into a carnival of goodness. Definitely will be back in town for this. Read more
Chicken a bit dry compared to other hot chicken I have had, but not bad. You can tell by how the tender does not drip hot oil... onto the bread, that the flavor mostly comes from the dry rub and not pouring of the frying oil back onto the chicken as is donefor classic Nashville Hot Chicken. Fries were very good. Sauce could use a bit of the hot chicken seasoning in it, but also notbad. Also tipping for counter service only on takeout is essentially mandated. The only way to avoid is to custom tip andmanually type .01. You should always tip at least 20% for table service, but for takeout? There should be a way to foregotipping. Read more
