Contempo Cafe is a good, solid quick service dining option at Disney's Contemporary Resort. It does not have a very big menu,... but it does have at least a basic item for most tastes. After eating 4 meals at the Contempo Café, I consider myself somewhat of an expert. The menu is limited but they have the... staples. The chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and flatbread were all fine -- nothing I would go out of my way for but a decentmeal at a reasonable price. Overall, on par with your average Fast Food joint. The fries were always fresh, but had slightly toomuch salt for my taste. Service here was hardly quick, I was surprised how long it took (even during slow periods) for food tobe ready; maybe 10 minutes longer than quick service locations in the park. Read more
We got stuck at the hotel during Hurricane Ian, so we spent more time than I probably wanted to eating food from here. The staff... were friendly, but service was rather slow, even when mobile ordering ahead of time. The kids pasta with meat sauce needed alot more sauce. I was disappointed it was just one tiny scoop. The chicken nuggets were good, and the fries had goodseasoning. The kids flat bread pizza is half the size of the adult flat bread, but it does come with two sides which wasnice. Overall, it was ok, but service needs to be quicker for a quick service restaurant. The adult Mickey waffle was verycrispy, and hard to cut and eat. Read more
The food was great. We had chicken tenders cooked to perfection. We had some amazing cupcakes. I had a chicken noodle soup... that was perfect after a long day walking. I was told all the other restaurants were full and reservations have to be mademonths in advance. But don't worry. This is the best next place. The prices are equal to prices out of Disney. Read more
Great breakfast, generous portions too! They had a few of the 50th desserts. Staff was super nice & friendly as well as helpful.
So I came here when magic kingdom was rained out and everything was closed because of it. This place was rather gourmet... especially considering the price of the food, which is rather budget friendly. It is located in the contemporary as you couldprobably guess, but it is better than chef mickeys, and cheaper. I got the chicken sandwich which was grilled chicken andlettuce with a spicy sauce and some sort of crumble cheese I forgot the name of. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wantsa budget friendly lunch that is close to the park. Read more
I have been visiting Contemporary Cafe since the 80's, when they were located on the first floor next to the big arcade, in what... is now Steakhouse 71. They were, and still are the best place in Disney World to get coffee and a snack. I just wish I couldstill play those games at the arcade... Read more
