CAVA is a very nice addition to the SoDo neighborhood. Similar to another member of that shopping center it provides a build... your own bowl experience with fresh ingredients. What makes CAVA stand out is its Mediterranean flavors and ingredients. I triedCAVA for the first time last week and went in not knowing the concept or menu. It did not disappoint! I selected one of thepredefined menu bowls (Harissa Chicken) and my wife built her own custom bowl. We both loved our bowls and thought they werefull of fresh and delicious flavors. The portion size was just right, left you full but not bloated or over full. The onedownside I saw was that they seemed to charge me extra for avocado on my pre-defined bowl when I never asked for it and it waslisted as an ingredient for that bowl. I didn?t care enough to argue but thought that wasn?t right of them to do. Overall Iwould highly suggest this place if you are like me and often looking for something convenient, guilt free, and satisfying. Read more

Wanted so much to like this place since I love Zoe?s that was there before and the menu looks so promising. The lentils were... undercooked and the falafel was just doughy and awful. The Brussels sprouts were burnt. Asked for Romain and there wasliterally two little quarter sized pieces. It had some good stuff going on as well but the bad overweighted the good. Very delicious food, but I think they should be much more careful with vegetables. Sometimes when we make vegetables, some are... in good condition and others are not. I would say to be more careful in that area. I come back and I repeat, the food wassuper tasty, but I noticed that some vegetables were a little past. Read more
