RAVE!! Blended Bistro & Boba on Edgewater! Fast, casual dining, GREAT PRICES, friendly staff, and Delicious VEGETARIAN... options!???????? I stopped by with the kids for lunch after a day at the Science Center and played some games they had on theshelf while we waited for our food. The cafe is very clean with spacious seating. And the menu has a lot to choose from it washard deciding what we wanted, bc it all sounded so good! But this is what we ordered: - Tofu Summer rolls - Shrimp summerrolls - Volcano fries - Popcorn chicken (SO GOOD dipped in soy sauce and chili garlic sauce!) - Grilled pork Bahn Mi - Baoflight (all vegetarian VERY YUMMY!) - Fried tofu poke bowl (the tofu was so crispy!) The kids all ordered sweet boba teas andslushes - rookie mistake bc they were all sipping my tea bc they needed something to wash their food down ???? But they have afree water station which was nice. I got the Lychee tea with mixed jelly (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! SO REFRESHING!) Everything wasfast, fresh, and tasty. I loved this place! Me and my cousin got two drinks, one with butterfly pea tea and lemonade, and the other one was a marble... bubble tea. Both of the drinks were soo good, and the pricing was great! I went a few more times after this, and I can truestsay that this place gets 5 stars! Great place! Read more
Huge dining room! Great place to have a meeting or to get some work done. Free Wi-Fi! Coffee is Vietnamese which is not my... favorite. I will definitely go back for food at some point! Read more
This was my first visit and I have mixed feelings. The aesthetic is well-curated and the music was at a good level. However, the... staff was not friendly or helpful at all. When I entered, I was the only customer? only one person looked at me, but didn?t movethe wall they were leaning on. No one greeted me; no smile or greeting when I reached the counter to order either; not even whensaid, ?Hi! How are you ?? I didn?t realize their featured menu didn?t have pre-set boba drinks (you choose your base drink andadd the flavors). I mentioned that I wasn?t familiar with the way boba drinks were made and usually order off a pre-set menu atother places. The cashier (guy with medium length black hair) didn?t try to be helpful at all. He just looked in disgust andboredom, telling me, ?you can just order whatever. Boba can be added to any drink?. While I tried to figure out my order(remember, I?m the only customer here), he just ignored me and didn?t try to help or make any suggestions. My drink was madequickly. However, the staff member (younger african American girl) that handed me my order did it wordlessly and without asmile. I said ?thank you? and tried to make eye contact, but she just walked off (still with barely any interaction with me),got a straw, handed to me, and walked off again. I want to try this place again bc the menu variety looks really cool and I?min this area frequently, but I don?t like how ignored I felt and the lack of basic, polite customer service. Read more
Delicious food, friendly service with a great price. The vegan pho was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the honey dew tea... they have plenty of plant based teas. They have good selection of food including a vegan menu with plenty of options. Read more
The food is good but what happened to the restaurant? A friend had been to Blended Bistro before and suggested we have dinner... there a couple of weeks ago. I looked up the restaurant and saw the photos; it looks like a hip and trendy space with impressivedishes. ATMOSPHERE (2): When we walked in, I got the impression they were still in the process of building out and decoratingthe space. Boxes were piled up alongside the back wall. Christmas pillows were strewn on the benches. Some tables were dirty andaskew. The restaurant looked nothing like the pictures I saw online. The bathroom needed to be cleaned and updated. FOOD (4):The food was good and flavorful. The vegetables were fresh. Meats were seasoned and tasty though not the most tender. The springrolls and wontons seemed to be the standard product you find in most restaurants but were prepared well. The Banh Mi bread wasawesome...a crunchy exterior with a soft, tender bread on the inside. VALUE (5): Serving sizes were average. They provide agood meal for the price. Read more
The food is absolutely great at this place! The seasoned tofu fried rice tasted authentic, very yummy! Their bao bread was so... soft and fluffy in texture. The summer rolls were very fresh too! As for the tea, I recommend the butterfly pea tea with cheesemouse on top - you can add boba or not. They?ve got lots of food and drink choices! Read more
I was in the neighborhood and craving pho so I found this restaurant. I was quickly greeted at the register and when I asked for... a suggestion of ingredients, the three-meat was recommended. It came out fresh and timely and was delicious. The location hasplenty of seating and I watch a little World Cup soccer while I was there. I?d definitely return to try other things on the menuand the boba tea. Read more
