This was my first time here after a friend recommended meeting here for lunch. I love Mexican food but mainly only eat it in... Mexico because I get disappointed in many US establishments. I was very impressed with the taste of these tacos. I ordered thesmoked beef brisket, crispy fish and black rooster asada. I enjoyed all of them. I think my favorite was the brisket taco. Theyalso had so many great tea options that I had to try one. I went with the Hibiscus Orange Black Tea, Mexico. It was refreshingwithout being too sweet. The staff was super friendly and attentive and asked how the meal was going and offered to refill ourtea as soon as they noticed that they were empty. It was an all-around great experience. First time here and was great. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was 100% on point. The queso was a but on the watery... side for my taste. But the flavor was there. The tacos were awsome. The set up of ordering is not what you would expect.... youwalk right in the door and order so anyone behind you is standing outside or packed up to you. So does not flow well. Food 100%must go. Set up could use work. Have no problem going back or telling people to go here.... just could have used a little morethought on room flow when built. Read more

Amazing fresh twist on Mexican flavors. Their tacos are so yummy, add a little of their hot sauce and flavors explode! ... Guacamole is a perfect chunkiness yet creamy. Amazing. My New Mexican favorite. Read more

Pozole was an excellent stew with green tomatillos and what I assume is chicken broth, corn, cilantro, and a hefty portion of... Lechon in the middle with corn chips. Now the Carne asada Tacos were served with a in-house corn tortilla and the meat wasmarinated with a Adobo sauce and fresh cilantro and all the dishes has a slice of lime that compliments every dish with morefreshness. All around experience was clean, the kitchen can be seen by any seats and tables all around the dining area in therestaurant. The price point is very affordable and the staff are accommodating and treat you like you have been a part of thecommunity for a long time. They offer many crafted beers, local beers, wines, soft drinks, and juices. This is a gem ofindependent restaurants that are blooming in Orlando Florida. 5 handmade Tacos that were tasty and the posole was a huge andtasty portion with fresh chips and house made guacamole. 2 soft drinks and a water $50.00 which for the freshly made portions iswell worth the money. I highly recommend this restaurant. I almost forgot, "the music made the whole experience a must for agood conservation and the all around experience" Read more

This awesome taco spot is definitely in the running for top 5 in the Orlando area. Very fresh ingredients and the food came out... quick! Two tacos was plenty of food but I could?ve easily eaten four. If you like black beans make sure to order a side of themwhen you go. The black beans are very unique here. My favorite taco was definitely the carne asada. This spot deserves 5 starsand I?ll be back soon! Read more

We just went to Black Rooster Taqueria in their new location on Curry Ford Road in Orlando. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! If you?ve been... to their original location on Mills Ave, then you already know that they are TOP NOTCH. Chef John Calloway and his team havecreated beautiful flavors and textures with each dish. Truly authentic latin cuisine and super fresh ingredients. I never feellike anything is processed food, and I can usually instantly tell after I eat something processed. Incredible product, menu, prices and ambiance. And this location is triple the size as the first location, including an outside HUGE area to relax. Seepics below? some are for a brunch that they are starting in January for Sat/Sun. We got the sneak peak and between the drinksand food, this is a MUST HAVE for brunches! Love Black Rooster and the owners and management team are incredibly great humanbeings. Read more
