Took my kids to this Orlando institution. Used to go here all the time as a kid growing up in Conway. Had the #1 Beef & Ham. My... kids had the BBQ beef and my daughter had of all things at a place named Beefy King a chicken sandwich. They were all great andthe tots were awesome as well. But prices have definitely climbed. I literally live around the corner for 8 years and finally made it in today for a hot roast beef and tater tots, and all I can... say is WOW! I have def been missing out. Great flavor, good bbq sauce and the tots were amazing . I will def be back. Great job. Read more
Have lived here for over 40 years. Have always heard about how great the food was finally got to stop by. It's no lie. The beef... sandwich was the best I've ever had and tater tots were crispy. Pretty good roast beef and pastrami sandwiches. The meat in both sandwiches were super moist and the spuds/chili were nice sides... to go along with the meal. I'd highly recommend added onions/cheese, and make sure to add plenty of horsey sauce! Read more
Finally we have made the trip to Beefy King known for their steamed roast beef sandwiches. The wait was definitely worth it. We... ordered the original roast beef sandwich, the Reuben and some tater tots. All of them We?re delicious and fresh. Probably the coolest thing about this place is it's natural kitschy name and logo. Nothing has changed since it opened. This is... the counter style that precedes MacDonalds. It tries to be a New York deli of sorts. The kosher dills were limp and flavorless.The beefy spuds is just a cutie name for tater tots. Nothing pleasant. This passed for food 60 years ago. The place is clean andorganized. I asked for a recommendation as a first time visitor but it really didn't appeal to me. Mistakes are made every nowand then. This is an older establishment that has survived time and even a fire. They were founded in 1968. The interior is like stepping... back in time and is very welcoming. Their tasty roast beef sandwiches are pretty good and are their main offering but they alsohave some specialty sandwiches and milkshakes on the menu. The best part is the prices which are very reasonable. Read more
