The space was pretty great. The staff were kind and attentive. The patio seating was really great. The flavors were altogether... missing. The chips were not my favorite and the salsa was pretty flat and unexciting. I was hoping for better quality based onthe price and the previous reviews. The food was bland. I was very surprised due to how I was completely excited about going to this restaurant. The atmosphere was... great and waiter was good. The food temperature was perfect but lacked flavor and that's saying alot for a Mexican restaurant. I have eaten at their establishment somewhere else and it was amazing. Really good food. Very nice location. If you can, ask for seating outside by the lake so you can see and hear the fountain.... Great service. Portions were ample but not too big. Nice tasty and somewhat unique preparations. Great drinks. Be careful if youare ordering spicy pineapple. It?s not spicy and the coconut and pineapple shavings on the rim are sweet, not salted. Differenttake. Salsa was good too. Giving them ½ star extra for supporting Apple Pay by the table side. They also have table sideguacamole and mariachi band. Ample parking. Read more

Good Food, Pleasant Environment, Good Customer Service, prices according to: service, portion size and location of the... restaurant. They welcomed us with Chips with sauce, We ordered one of the favorites of the place "La Parrillada", (enough fortwo people), For drinks I tried the Jamaican water, desserts Tres Leches and Flan (my favorite was the flan). The ambiance is nice but the food is subpar. Visited for dinner on a Friday night and the place was packed. Definitely a go-to... for many in the area. They offer valet parking, which is nice. But that also means if you opt to self-park you?ll be walkingquite a bit from/to your car. The outdoor space is ample and very nice. If you are sensitive to loud music, I would suggest youchoose outdoor seating as the instruments for birthday celebrations and general love dedications are common and very loud. Themusic is nice, but may startle someone who isn?t used to the types of instruments used. We waited about 30 minutes for a table,not bad for a Friday night. They take limited reservations and call ahead is not an option. The indoor seating is very nice aswell. Light fixtures and decor around the space really capture your attention. The lighting is quite dim. They feature greatwalls of bottles and a big selection of alcohol, especially tequila. My husband, a margarita connoisseur, said there?s waspretty good and worth the price. I was shocked to find that a shot glass cost more than his mixed drink. Our guests had avariety of items. Elotes Mexicanos - the toppings were nice, but the corn itself tasted very bland. I?ve had much betterMexican corn elsewhere. Shrimp Tacos - shrimp were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The corn tortillas did not tastefresh. Enchiladas a la crema - tasted good. Fantastic Mexican cuisine with a great outdoor patio dining area overlooking the water. We were seated quickly, and the server... was helpful with recommendations when we were overwhelmed by all the menu choices. I tried the chile relleno (stuffed pepper)for something different, and it was great! The plantains were the best I?ve had in a long time, perfectly crisp and caramelizedon the outside but soft inside. Portions were generous and prices very reasonable for such a nice place. WOW!! We usually go to the one that?s on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando which is also very nice. But this one, this location is... absolutely breathtaking from the moment you walk in the door. The hostess were very sweet and very nice. Our server wasabsolutely amazing and very attentive We got our food in a timely manner which was absolutely amazing,fresh and hot. We satoutside ,and the view was gorgeous, we could?ve sat out there all night long. I would definitely recommend this place even ifit?s just to go have a drink with a friend or two or even by yourself if you just need a moment to relax. Read more

Not bad for Florida. The ambience was great. Busy with a mariachi band. They make the guacamole fresh by your table. We tried... the regular and seafood molcajete and they did not disappoint. Our server was great and prompt. Food was served in a timelymanner. Prices are a bit high but the restaurant is located in Lake Nona. At least the portions were plentiful as we took foodhome.
