I'm a local, so I frequently go to Armando's. I'm very pleased with Joe the dish washer. Since he's been there I haven't had an... issue with my dishes, and such. I noticed he has been doing a lot of repairs there that has been making all the customers morecomfortable. I think Alex the kitchen manager needs to learn people skills. Victor is very rude, and I won't dine in when he'sthere. Between Melissa, and Joseph; I think they are single handedly keeping the place safe, clean, and comfortable. ThanksMelissa, and Joseph. Jay was our server a few weeks ago and we had a large party of 15 that he handled beautifully on his own! He was an absolute... pleasure and we will return because of his charm, attention to detail the FOOD which was also outstanding! There is a sign ontheir door stating they are short staffed (like most places) so be patient ?? not everyone is lucky enough to have Jay! - Terri(spelled like his mom but not his mom. Everything was great.... except for the pasta, sadly. The concensus amongst the ones who ordered pasta (multiple kinds)... was... that it lacked in flavor. This is just hard for me to believe at an Italian restaurant. Hopefully it was just an off night. Thedelicious Crème brûlée sort of made up for it. I do love Crème brûlée!! Read more
First time at college park location. Clean and courteous waiter, name not given. Delicious meal I wanted the il formaggi, but... didn't want the tortellini. He was quick to switch pastas for me which was appreciated. Read more
Food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the bruschetta which was super yummy (needed a dash of salt), the mushroom ravioli and... the parpadelle a la vodka were both homey, flavorful, creamy and pasta was perfection. However, We We?re first timers from outof town and arrived around 3:30pm. No reservation. The restaurant was pretty empty. Straight off the bat with an attitude, thehost asked whether we had a reservation and when we said we didn?t he said it would?ve been recommended as they are very shortstaffed and over worked servers and it?s hard to serve the customer ( ????, I get it. We?re in weird times but come on). Then heproceeded to walk around the entire restaurant complaining and very loudly saying ?yes we all look miserable, if you don?t likeit don?t visit during the holidays?. He also went outside and had a beer with outdoor guests. No matter how great the food wasand how nice our actual server was, The bad impression left by the host guy was not necessary. We had a reunion here last Saturday of former Wendy's franchise owners. The service was excellent and the food was amazing!
