Edit 8/9/2022: This used to be my go to Chinese food place as I’ve been coming here since I moved to the area. I used to love... the coupon savings and portion sizes, but this place has definitely changed. They now charge a 3.5% credit card fee that is nowhere to be found on their menus or website. They also seem to conveniently leave out that point when ordering over the phone.It’s not until you get there that you’re presented with a “tough luck it’s your responsibility to cover our credit cardfees”. The portion sizes for the combos used to be great, but are now 80% rice to 20% actual meat and vegetables. The food hasnever been great, but I was okay with eating here for the coupons and portion sizes. It’s just not worth coming here anymore.I’d recommend going to any of the other Chinese food places in the area that have a much higher google maps rating. Ordered through door dash and said it would be 30 minutes. At 45 minutes and the door dash app still saying our order was still... being prepared I clicked on help on the app and it said 88 Chinese delivers their own door dash orders and to call therestaurant. I called and a women answered blaming door dash, that they hadn’t made our order yet and would at least be another30 minutes. Told they wouldn’t start making it until their driver came back. I said I wanted to cancel the order so the womenthat answered from 8& Chinese said “FINE, I will just cancel your order” and hung up on me. Complained to door dash customerservice and they canceled the order because the women from 88 Chinese never did. Will never order from 88 Chinese and sendingout emails to our neighbors and others that we know in Hunters Creek to spread the word to not spend their money here. Rude andan attitude. Not worth it. One star is the worst I can go, wish it allowed me to do negative stars. Women answering the phoneneeds some work on her customer service. Read more
This was one of my go to places to order Chinese food. But it seems like the last two times I’ve ordered it’s less than... okay. Yesterday I ordered off door dash, $75 worth of food to find the chicken was an off set color, and the beef way to overcooked. Now to say my whole family has food poisoning right now, and I will be reporting to the the health department. What ashame. Read more
We live near by so we buy from 88 about once a week. Today is Wednesday about 7pm, we ordered shrimp rolls, hot and sour soup,... pepper steak with veggie fried rice and the food was literally perfect. Me and my husband are both in food and beverage businessand super picky eaters but we couldn’t find anything to criticize this time. The rice was perfectly cooked and steak wasperfectly marinated. The rolls were fried to perfection we heard the crunch at every bite. The crackers we put in the soup feltlike freshly made. And no we are not getting any free deals or paid from them. :) we just believe that the good needs to beappreciated. Plus they take orders very detail oriented and politely and always repeat back to us, i highly recommend 88???????? Read more
I will never order from this place AGAIN I ordered chicharon de pollo and the meat was not cooked fully once AGAIN
A lot of food with little taste. Boneless spareribs were chunks not strips and in a light barbecue sauce with dry pork fried... rice. The house special rice didn't have a lot of the special The fortune cookies were burnt The soups we had were good. Read more

Pretty good food and for the price me and my wife both god pretty big portions and we made it for the lunch special so it was... only $18 for both of us to eat. We brought our own drinks though so that was a plus. Read more
