Abbey at 4 Roots Cafe is an AMAZING person who thinks with her heart and hone customers issue from start to finish! I led a... team of 20 JPMC employees volunteering at the Science Center and we ordered sandwiches but 1 person was vegetarian and Abbeyworked it all out to re-create what was already made. I'm really surprise at the bad reviews. We've eaten here several times. The bowls are really great and the prices are fair. ... The pizza is also good, nice and crispy. The dino shaped chicken nuggets are not great which is the only reason I took off astar but I don't think it deserves the hate. Read more
I bought the veggie fiesta salad yesterday. Only to discover that when I sat down the two main ingredients that I wanted we're... not in the salad. There was no black beans and there was no quinoa. Instead someone had the bright idea to put instead chickpeasor garbanzo beans and the texture is disgusting. Red beans pinto beans navy bean, ANYTHING would have been better. Seriouslysomeone tell this company if you don't have the ingredients, don't sell the salad!!!!!! Instead of quinoa they just put extrabrown rice. So I am pretty peeved that I paid $8 for inexpensive pantry food plopped in a plastic container. My son ate all ofthe pickled onion and tomatoes and the rest went in the trash. What a waste. I would have asked for my money back but I didn'twant to be that person in the middle of a rush yesterday afternoon. Read more
Got the Asian bowl, it was way way too salty and it was inedible. Broccoli was also burnt and dry like another reviewer said. I... told the staff but they didn't seem to care cuz they probably volunteers or just Don't care. Read more
This review is for the restaurant inside the museum only. I think the museum exhibits are top-notch. Finally made another visit... to the science museum after 2 years. Food at the new 4Roots Café is OK, but it's not worth the higher price for my family. Mykids don't really like the food. Not everyone thinks that a "plant based" menu is the best choice for their family. Hot dog for$6. I know it's 2021 pricing, but that's 2021 Disney pricing. The science center is not close to other restaurants, so we willhave to bring our own food the next time we visit. I miss the Subway restaurant that used to be here. They had more selections(both meat and plants), bigger portions, and lower prices. Read more
