The first two times I ate here the brisket was so dry and didn?t taste good at all. This last time the brisket didn?t really... look like brisket or appetizing, it was so fatty I couldn?t even eat it. I basically paid $15 for Mac n cheese and corn ????.They really need to step up the quality of food or the cooking. have been to the winter park location multiple times and it isSO much better than this location, you would think you?re at a different bbq spot. I used to work next door to this place and couldn't wait until it opened to try it our. I was not disappointed. The food was... delicious and resonably priced. They have some signature cakes, cupcakes and bars. You can also get cookies and other sweettreats. To drink they have fountain drinks and iced tea. Read more

We?ve started trying different bbq locations so we can compare/recommend to other people and this was definitely a great start... ???? We ordered the Happy Herd (pork ribs, brisket, burnt ends and pulled pork) with mac & cheese, french fries, 4R BBQ beansand corn bread. OMG this was delicious! Pork ribs where so tender it falls off the bone, brisket melts in your mouth, burnt endsreally tasty? EVERYTHING was really good and staff is amazing! ?? Definitely coming back to try other plates Read more

Tried the burnt ends melt for the first time tonight. Let me start off by saying my sides were sweet potatoes and baked beans,... the sweet potatoes were great and the beans were even better. That sandwich left both sides in the dust! I have always lovedanything barbecue but that was the best bbq sandwich I have ever eaten and I have eaten many! Keep it up and thank you. Read more

Sadly - this is not like the other 4 River restaurants! While the service is good and the decor is nice?the food quality just... isn?t there. The sides taste like store bought and definitely not homemade. In particular - the baked beans were actually awful! The sauce was overly sweet and the bits of meat tasted and felt like they were swept off the floor at the end of the night. Ihad the loaded baked potato with chicken. The chicken looked like dog food - it was ground up and served with an ice creamscoop. It didn?t taste much better. It?s disappointing that they chose not to replicate and honor their original vision of whata good BBQ restaurant should be. I?ll give them another chance in a few months to see if they can overcome their obviousshortcomings ( I was there at dinner time and they were not busy at all - so I imagine I?m not alone in my opinion). If theyhaven?t improved - I?ll go back to Cecil?s down the street. While Cecil?s isn?t the best I?ve had - it?s certainly better thanthis location of 4 Rivers. Read more

I agree with the previous reviews. The new 4rivers is not much different from McDonald's which might be ok for some people but... not for me and the money we paid. I work across from UCF and used to love going to the 4rivers there. This one is way lowerquality food. We ordered the 2x2 (brisket and pulled pork) both were awful as well as the sides, truly disappointed Read more

Being in the restaurant business for over 35 years and having been subject to reviews written by Karen who can't understand why... it takes 30 minutes for a made to order souffle, I normally wouldn't bother writing a bad review. This place is new but thechef/owner - restaurant company behind it has several other locations, catering, even published cook books. I was in such dismayabout what was in the familiar styro containers, initially by the lack of weight, then visually, then ugh. We ordered throughthe drive thru and we're made to wait, and then pull into a parking spot. The bag arrived and we drove home, a 4 minutedrive. Upon opening our entrees we found none of the sauces we requested and the food was cold, all of it. Not cool or kindawarm, cold. Issue your staff some thermos... Two strips of brisket were flavorless, dry, and really, this is the portionsize? The pulled pork was stale, extremely dry, and again, flavorless. The BBQ sauce provided was also flavorless and kindamade this bad food worse. The very tiny leg/thigh was, very tiny. It had relatively good seasoning and was the only meat thathad any semblance of smoke. Flavor was, good, but portion size is pathetic. The greens were flavorless and tasted like theywere from a can. Big chunks of pork in with them, but, strangely, not salty. Not good. The corn was pretty good and seemedfairly fresh, fairly but possibly IQF cut corn. I was using the corn as an additive to the meats so I could get through theexcessively dry protein. Just good. The Mac and Cheese was way, way overcooked, the sauce tasted like artificial cheese andthere was a slight chemical aftertaste. I had two bites and couldn't take another. Horrible bad. The sweet potatoes tasted likeyams from a can seasoned with pumpkin pie spice. Not horrible but basically dessert level sugar. Meh, good. The cornbread wasokay, and the only thing out of everything that I ate all of. Good. We were looking forward to this place opening giv Read more
