Was so excited to go try smash burger with my kid and was totally disappointed. The same person handling the food was the same... person on the register touch everything with the same gloves she use to touch my food. I do not understand why the prepare thefood on the outside of the kitchen where people are standing and talking. It was unsanitary made me not even want to eat myfood. The service was soooo slow. The Teenagers spent more time talking than preparing the food. Service was terrible, food wascold, never will go back. Read more

Gave this place a try and wanted to try their food. I ordered a burger with onion fries. The teenagers were all on their phones,... and so I shrugged my shoulders. But then the food came out and I kid you not, the burger was flat and looked empty then theonion fries were burned and super salty and I now know they burn a lot of customers food. (Just read the other complaints) Theowner needs to hire people that care about the quality of the food because that?s what brings the customers back. Definitely notgoing back again. Read more
Great burger! Great cold beer too! Not sure of all the bad reviews but from when I walked in, it was flawless. Host George was... smiling and super friendly. First time visiting Smashburger. I got the Bacon w/ cheese smashburger w/cheese & red onions. It was great. I tried the rosemary... smash fries. My boyfriend got the bacon brisket w/cheese Smash burger. He loved it. The burgers have a ton of flavor. I wasimpressed. We will definitely be back. The picture doesn't do it justice. Read more
Never again! The food was subpar. My kiddo's chicken strips were burnt. The bacon on my burger was burnt. And the Haystack... Onions were not only burnt, they had an unnatural, disgusting hue to them. The workers were highly unprofessional. Whilewaiting for my food, I watched an off duty employee with her coat on, get handed over the counter, a half made burger in herbare hands. She inspected it, made comments and then handed it back over the counter to the on duty employee. Another employeewas standing there sipping a milkshake. We finally got to try smash burger at Orland Park yesterday but it was not a pleasant visit. Employees are attentive but the... location was freezing. It was as so cold we had to rush to eat our meal. My husband did ask an employee about the temp and shestated doors were constantly opened as so they could not keep it warm. I would say owners need to make sure that they wereinstalled the correct HVAC system, specially when you have a hood running and they dont have a return. ( my husband is acontractor and knows about this stuff) Bathrooms were clean. BBQ burger was great according to my son. Mine was ok? I wish ithad some onions or lettuce. I got the Smoked brisket,it was good but with the brisket it no longer tasted like a burger. Read more
