So frustrating that every time I recommend Miller's to friends and family, it's a fail! Yet when my kids and I go, it's great. I... am giving this visit 2 stars only because the manager made it right, but if not, it would be 0 stars. The calamari was notright, I knew something was wrong when it was a dark caramel color, usually it's a light beige, but the flavor was gross, tastedold. Then my godmother gets her fried shrimp and those were the same color as the calamari, almost burnt, yet they were soggy...and Again just like the calamari they stated old. The only thing we could think of was that the oil was reused one too manytimes. I ordered the nachos and those chips were nasty too. Besides the food not being up to the quality we usually get, thewaitress was not providing very good customer service. She didn't bring some of the stuff we ordered, didn't bring us plates forthe appetizers, didn't ask if we needed refills on drinks, didn't even bring my aunt's drink at all, and she had some type ofattitude towards us. I observed how she treated her other tables and she was nice, all smiles and attentive, yet with us shewasn't. I almost forgot to mention, the ladies bathroom was disgusting. The food was excellent, the prices very reasonable and the drinks were fantastic. I remember ordering appetizers and the house... salad. It was so beautiful I had to take a picture and post it to my IG, Facebook, and on Google reviews. Not only was itbeautiful but it was delicious. I recommend stopping by and indulging in the Delicacies they have to offer. Also the waiter agentleman was extremely funny and knowledgeable about the menu and what the patrons who frequent their often recommended. Thatis why I gave you all a five star review. Great service and food was mostly great. 2 reasons for the lost star. 1. I ordered the smothered BBQ chicken and it came with 2... sides, nearly every restaurant we've ever gone to has side salads on the sides menu, this place did not but we were not informedof that when we ordered and were charged $3 for the side salad, nothing was said of an upcharge ???? so I paid for an extra sideand still only got 2 sides. 2. I asked for the garlic parmesan sauce on the chicken instead of the BBQ but it came with no sauceat all just the toppings. And the chicken was a little dry so I had to ask for the sauce. Which was amazing by the way!???? Definitely worth 5 stars by it self! The Zingers Mountain melt appetizer was very good. House made chips were delish dipped inthe honey BBQ!
