Had them cater an anniversary party for my in-laws. Nothing too fancy, pulled chicken, potatoes and coleslaw, but it was... delicious and a hit with just about everyone. Far more effort put in than we expected and I thoroughly enjoyed leftovers for afew days. The garlic sauce for the potatoes was so good. Happy to recommend them! Read more
Such a homey place, we had the smoked chicken and it was phenomenal! So tender and soft, meat practically falls off the bone.... The service is friendly, would?ve preferred my corn bread more moist. Read more
We ordered The Shack Club and Pulled Pork on a bun. WeI love the garlic aioli in it, the chicken and pork was full of flavour.... The coleslaw on the side was amazing. Perfect combination. Next- will come back to try that famous Jerky Chicken :) Read more
I was there a few weeks back and ordered fries and corn bread. It was pricey and the amount of fries I got for the $15 I paid,... was a small amount that could fit in a closed hand. My daughter had the jerk chicken meal and it wasn't even as tasty as we hadhoped. The food looks and smells amazing but costly for the amount you get. Don't let my opinion stop you from trying, I mayhave just not been as lucky as everyone else who says it is good. Read more
A hidden gem! Honestly I wish I came here before! Fantastic gentlemen that works there was super nice. We got a pulled pork and... pulled chicken sandwiches with roasted potatoes. Was very delicious. You can taste the love in their home cooking ? Also got acoleslaw on a side, it is now a must! Best coleslaw! If anyone is ever in that area, you have got to stop by! We are moving in the area very soon, just walking distance to this place. When we came to visit our future home, we decided to... stop over here and have dinner before heading back to the GTAA. My husband ordered the poutine and he says it?s pretty good!Better than most poutines he?s had in Toronto (and we are from Montreal originally so we are very picky with our poutine). Iordered the ribs and it is pretty good! I love their cornbread as well! Downfall is that there isn?t much of a dine in. There?sonly one table inside. But outside, you can sit on the picnic tables! So it?s a nice spot for summer! But for winter, you?d haveto do take out for sure. I can?t wait to move to the neighborhood and I?ll definitely come back and try other things on theirmenu. Read more
First time trying this place and WOW! What a hidden gem! If you?re looking for authentic and tasty bbq then this is the spot. We... had two meat platter with mouthwatering sides. We ordered the smoked chicken with rice and roasted potatoes as well as pulledpork with Mac n cheese and coleslaw. Our fav sides were the mac n cheese and the roasted potatoes. We don?t usually order smokedchicken because it can very dry, but this place has it nailed down - it was moist and flavourful. Can?t wait to go back formore! Read more
