The food is always great. Unfortunately, they aren't always open as the hours say. Its a hit or miss for them being open. Called... to place an order today at 3 and then at 3:30 pm with no answer and no details of being closed on the machine. Arrived there at4pm and it was closed. Little disappointing when their hours says open until 8pm. Sadly, I can't say its the first time this hashappened. Good food, but don't get your hopes up as they may not be operating. Read more

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The fish is great, the fries are some of the best I've ever had, even the coleslaw is... good, and I am not a coleslaw person normally. I don't think I've tried a menu item yet that wasn't really good, and I've beenquite a few times. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town, 10/10, I go there whenever I want to treat myself to areally good meal. Read more

First time getting food from here, got take out and was blown away with how well it held up. We live a half hour away so take... out fish is usually a miss but not from Fin City! Ordered just a piece of Halibut to try. Ended up getting (and paying for), the Halibut meal. I don't believe for a second it was... Halibut despite being called back by the lady who claims to filet the fish herself. If it is indeed Halibut, then it'sdefinitely bottom of the barrel stuff. Meant to be a 4oz piece, ended up with 2 pieces that might be 4oz if you include thestodgy batter. Read more

The worst fish and chips we've ever had. Ordered through Skip app. The halibut was all dough and very little fish. The calamari... looked like it was the leftovers from the bottom of the fryer. The fries were mediocre at best. I hope I can post the pictures Itook if this extremely disappointing Sunday night dinner. Shame on you Fin City. Next time we'll wait until Duckworths is open. Some of the best fish & chips I've had in some time. The only other place that comes even close to this quality of fish and... chips is Westside Fish & Chips in Huntsville. Homemade fries and their own homemade batter keeps Orillia coming back for more.This is my first time and will continue to return.
