Wow! Amazing flavours. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken masala, steamed rice and garlic naan. The owner was friendly and... described several dishes for us. We went with medium heat, to kick it up a notch and it did not disappoint! We would definitelystop in for dinner the next time that we are in the city. Read more

Was very impressed with the food here! Got take out and the food was still very hot when I got home! Can tell it was cooked to... order and very generous sizes! I got butter chicken with rice and garlic naan and 2 samosas, it fed me 2 meals! The flavour wasgreat and had a very good spice level! Will definitely be back! Read more
I ordered: - chicken vindaloo - aloo gobi - paneer masala - naan - rice Placed my order on Sunday just after noon and it was... ready at 1:00pm. Dealt with Baljeep who was very helpful and nice. Although the restaurant is closed for indoor dining it wasvery clean. The food was delicious! I've had these dishes from a handful of Indian restaurants and these were at the top of thelist. Very flavourful, just the right amount of heat (Baljeep asked how hot I wanted it), the bread was fresh and the rice wascooked perfectly. The paneer masala had tons of paneer in it and the consistency was great. The vindaloo was a little liquidyfor my liking but the taste was there. The chicken was tender, not overcooked. And the best part, I got THREE meals out of it!!!(k, not the best part obviously but a great bonus). I highly recommend 5 Rivers and I cannot wait to go back and try more.Thank you Baljeep! Read more
Awesome Indian food in Orillia! Must-try. We had a number of curries, biryani and breads in our takeout and everything was... well-prepared and flavourful. Pro tip- enjoy their amazing food at a bench in Kitchener Park and enjoy the beautiful lakeviews! Read more
Amazing homemade food and delightful service. What a great find! I'm new to Orillia, recently moved here from Toronto and happy... to say I found my new go to Indian restaurant. This spot was recommended to me by friends and it did not disappoint. I orderedbutter chicken, Raita (yogurt), samosas and some Naan and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious and fresh all the food was.You can tell everything was made to order. This isn't a fast food take out place, you need to call ahead and order but its wellworth it. So much flavour, the food here is clearly made with love. Can't say enough good things about the food aside from it'sas good as some of the best restaurants I've tried all across the GTA. Will definitely be back! Read more
