It's a very nice little town, mostly francophone, but still the little business around the hotel were welcoming. The hotel is... very quaint, lovely for a couple. The junior suit was beautiful. My issue was there was no room service. You need to reserveearly at the restaurant in the hotel or get food elsewhere, I found it odd for a hotel to have no room service. Read more

This place is a beautiful resort. The rooms are nice, very clean and comfortable - and cozy (which means they should be a few... square feet larger for what you would expect. Competent and friendly staff. Clearly well managed. Read more

I have spend a night at the hotel ! I went with a friend for some needed relaxation! I was very satisfied with my stay , the... staff was amazing ,helpful, always smiling very kind and very professional ! I got a top floor room as per requested facing thelake , the view was beautiful !! Couldn?t ask for better . The room was clean , we even got extra towels! I have to say thatthe pool area is nice . I spent most of my days by the lake , it was beautiful! The only thing is that , it would need to have new lounge chairs and too add more of them ! The equipment for the canoes, paddle boards, pedal boats also needs to be up dated! I did enjoy the spa area outside ! Really nice and quiet! The hotel is located 10 mins away from Magog , so it allowed us togo eat in Magog and also do some basic shopping. I recommend this hotel , very lovely stay and I will definitely go back . Read more

Our room was clean & had easy access to the lake on which we enjoyed the kayaks & swimming. The golf course was excellent. ... Enjoyed the pools & spas. The restaurant was very good. Staff was friendly & helpful. Will return. Read more

The rooms are shabby, there was cookies smushed into the carpets, stains in the furniture that could have easily been taken out... if they were cleaned adequately. I came here for a funeral, my in laws booked the rooms I paid a deposit on my card, the staffassured me to place my card in the card reader when I went to leave that the deposit will be placed back on. I do all that?sasked the room was left in better shape than when I had gotten it. Then was told that sorry nope you?ll have to wait 10 businessdays for the deposit I asked four times if this is correct? I went on with my day. And left town to drive six hours back home. Iwait the 10 business days and call back to get an extremely rude response from front desk that I should have known at the frontdesk to put my card in and get the deposit back that way. I told her that I?m six hours away. That?s not what was told to me.And she basically said well tough luck. I talked to a manager who said would contact me back in 15 which he never did I call himback 45 minutes later to which he laughs and says he hasn?t started anything he?s got more pressing matters and eventually he?lllook into it. It?s Friday and I?ve waited a good part of my morning to which is wasted. This company steals your money for subpar accommodations and rude staff. Don?t even get me started with the staff waiting tables. I wouldn?t recommend this place toanyone unless you don?t mind forking over extra money you will not get back. Read more

I am here for work. It is a beautiful place to visit. It sits between mountains next to a lake. The rooms face sun rise or sun... set. Thw rooms are very spacious and nice. TV, fridge, microwave, and wood fire place. Beside the bed you have a sofa thatpulls out into a bed. There are lots of activities to enjoy. From swimming in one or make pools to water sports to playing around of golf. At if you are looking for relaxing, well try one of there spa packages, or ease into one or the few hot tubs. Atnight take a seat at there restaurant and enjoy a meal. Read more

Staff is poorly trained. Very understaffed. Rooms are done every 3 days even if you request for your room to be done. They don?t... tell you this. You have to find out by yourself. If you?re able to get a hold of someone at the front desk they?ll give you thewrong info. I was told by the front desk i had to book the tennis court at the golf pro shop. I waited at the golf pro shop onlyto be told the tennis court belonged to the hotel and i had to speak to the front desk. Got a drink at the hotel bar. The waiterbrought me the bill when i hadn?t asked for it and failed to return for another 30min. One of the saunas is out of order therest of the facilities look like they?re not cleaned very often. Paving is loose and dangerous around the outside jacuzzi.Almost twisted an ankle. Better options available, avoid. Read more

The hotel claims that we reserved 3 rooms, when in fact we only reserved 2 rooms through Hotels.com. The 2 rooms are showing... charged on our credit card by Hotels.com, but the 3rd room is showing charged directly by the hotel. We did not authorize nordid we reserve this 3rd room. The total charge being claimed is $374.45. The hotel refuses to acknowledge their error andtherefore is ignoring my request. Management and staff has been very unprofessional and even arrogant toward my claim. I guessthis hotel just charges extra rooms on credit cards just like that, without consent or reservations. Or are they scammingcustomers?? Manager continues to deny its their error. I will definitely be escalating my claim against this fraudulentcharge. I do not recommend this hotel. Read more
