Our family got 3 empanadas, the shredded beef, ground beef, and the pork. All were delicious. We also got 2 of the Patacons,... which were ok. The plantain was an interesting touch to that dish. We didn't love it, but it was ok. The place was clean anddecorated nicely. Food overall was authentic and tasty. Definitely worth a try if you are looking to try something new. Onecaution though, as you purchase your food, beware of the 5% "surcharge admin charge" that they automatically charge you withouttelling you. As we questioned what this charge was for, the person in charge or the server could not explain it. They said theywould refund it, but they did not. Other people in our group also got charged this and they also were not notified as to what itwas for. Read more

Fantastic. Delicious. Authentic. Everything I wanted it to be. Arepas are basically Venezuelan sandwiches and I love a good... sandwich. Very filling. Highly recommend going here. Read more

TASTE: 5/5 here, the pabellón arepa is the best imo. Picture is attached. My family is from Venezuela and we loved the arepas.... The empanadas are also large, twice the size of a typical empanada you?d get in South America. Carne molida was good. QUANTITY:4/5 on this one. One arepa is not enough to fill you up if you?re hungry. You need an empanada or another arepa. PRICE: 2/5 onthis one. These are San Francisco arepa prices, not Utah. 14$ for one arepa that will not fill me up is definitely not worth it.I would never spend that kind of money when I could get plenty of other tasty and filling things for the same or cheaper.Because of this, I will only come back here very occasionally. Overall a yummy place but not a go-to bc of price. Read more

A fun and delicious place to eat. We had a delightful, friendly worker who courteously helped us choose delicious food for our... first experience at this restaurant. Her advice was spot on. Note: electronic tips go entirely to the owners, so tip in cash ifyou wish. Read more

Amazing food!! We had the pabellon arepa and patacon. It was a wonderful mix of sweet and salty. If you love mozarella sticks... try the Tequeños.They have a guava and cheese one that is delicious. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try somethingnew or craving the flavor of fried plantains. Read more

I'm a huge fan of Arempas! I'm so excited that I don't have to drive all the way to Salt Lake to their other location. The Orem... location is fantastic! The restaurant is very clean and they provide great service here. The food came quickly and is veryfresh! As an appetizer, I ordered a 12 piece Taqueños which are fried cheese sticks. They are amazing and a must! TheTaqueños are served with a green sauce which is comparable to Cafe Rio's cilantro ranch sauce. My main meal is the Pataconwith shredded beef! It is my favorite! I've ordered it nearly every time I've visited this restaurant. It is fried plantainsserved with shredded beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream. My friends ordered their empanadas which were fantastic aswell! Overall, this place is a fabulous restaurant that is rich in culture! You'll enjoy great food, service, and atmosphere! Ihighly recommend Arempas! Read more
