A friend and family memebers told me to avoid this place, but i knew they were wrong. The place was clean, the salsa bar made me... happy, and the service was abrupt, unfriendly, but fast. I ordered two hard shell tacos with rice and beans. This was my firstmistake, seeing the rolled tacos are fried nicely i should not have assumed they also fry the tortillas for tacos. I was reallycraving a nice fried shell, as they call themselves authentic. Sadly i should have gone to Taco bell, i cant stand the tacoshells that are broken before you get them. The beef was greasy and runny and upset my tummy. The chicken was quality but lackedflavor, so much lettuce and not much else. I left most of my meal. It will be a while before i try again. Read more
First off, always friendly. Just as important, always fresh. Fresh & friendly AUTHENTIC tacos. Priced so right I eat here... multiple times a week. Salsa bar is legit. Get the carnitas tacos, juicy but not oily. See y’all again tomorrow. Read more

Since Don Chuys has a five star rating I decided to stop for lunch pickup. Don Chuys styles itself as having authentic Mexican... flavors and, having been to Mexico a number of times, I would agree. I was very pleased with my pork tamale plate for $12.75. It had a lovely taste and was a good sized meal. The green salsa was great. The server was friendly and helpful. Don Chuyshas a few booths and tables, but there\'s not a lot of room. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Oregon City. Read more
Friendly and fast service and Amazing authentic Mexican food - especially the street tacos and the birria!!! *chef\'s kiss* the... shrimp was well seasoned and NOT overcooked!! Which is so rare to find in ANY restaurant these days! The fish taco was a littlespicier, but still, well seasoned and tender.\nHands down, the best thing I tried was the Quesobirria Taco!!! My wife and I just got back from Don Chuy\'s and had to leave a review for these guys! Best tacos in town. Shrimp perfectly... cooked. All meats marinaded and flavorful. Friendly owners who go above and beyond. Go support them and spread the word. Irecommend the birria. Read more
