We were in the mood for Mediterranean food and wanted to try something other than Rachel?s? Nothing against Rachel?s, of... course, we love it?we were just hoping to try somewhere more ?authentic.? Turns out Pita Gourmet isn?t quite that. It?s prettysimilar to a Rachel?s, but with different decor and a different vibe. And that?s not a bad thing! We experienced solid serviceand enjoyed our food. Every Mediterranean place we try for the first time, my wife always goes for falafels and I always go forgyros. We sampled a bit of each other?s food and found them acceptable. While not exactly the ?authentic? Mediterraneanexperience we were looking for, we found Pita Gourmet to be a decent place to get a meal. Read more
Buyer beware at this restaurant. My wife ordered a chicken and I wanted beef, the order taker rang both orders as chicken. I... was given a receipt. After I sat down and was eating my food the order taker came up to me and gave me another recipe, and saidthere was a 50 cent up charge on the beef. Usually no big deal for something like this, but the order taker took it upon himselfto go in the computer and recharge my credit card without my authorization. It not the 50 cents but the boldness to make anaddition charge to my card. To me this is just bad business, I would have gladly paid the difference. Read more
I can appreciate a fast-casual chain that's both local and healthy. Everything is really tasty too; the meats are super tender,... the pita is really fluffy, and the sauces are very flavorful. While it might not be considered authentic Mediterranean, theprice point is very reasonable. Pita Gourmet will likely be my go-to spot for when I want to go out but keep it cheap. Read more
