OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE for fine dining. (Part of which, I evaluate as a top level Google reviewer). We were... accommodated on short notice. We were served by a server named Terry (I hope I got the name correct, he was wonderful). Pleaseconvert thanks to him. The chef was gracious and offered us tuna croquette appetizer which was absolutely no delicious. We'vealso given for focaccia bread with butter and cauliflower spread. MAIN COURSE: 1) ricotta gnocchi with the rabbit ragu sauce????? every bite was to be savored slowly. If you just want to taste it, get a smaller plate. However if you want it to befilling, get the larger plate. 2) Tortolone: (a much larger type of tortellini pasta) filled with braised short rib and ricottafilling. Farm mushroom and fresh shuffle sauce. The filling was absolutely delicious. The pasta itself would benefit from beingcooked slightly longer. The meal was phenomenal. The scallops melted in your mouth the prosciutto di Parma was the best I've ever eaten, the lamb the... lobster raviolone...all so delicious. Thanks to our server Jarek for his excellent and attentive service Truly a fantasticexperience from start to finish. Read more
Disappointed. You can tell the chef’s have changed & it shows. Our server was pushy, trying to take our appetizers away twice... when we weren’t done to give us our mains, because of the cooks. Appetizers tasted good but had old school presentation.Entrees were absolutely tasteless, steak wasn’t seared & pasta was very bland. Our server didn’t even ask how our food was(probably because he knew it wasn’t good as our bowl of pasta just sat there). The Food & Fire experience in the outdoor garden domes was amazing! It started off just outside the main doors with a golf... cart progression to the dome a short distance away in the garden. The domes were delightful and intimate, a perfect setting fora fantastic meal. Everything about the meal is exceptional along with the service. Micheal, Alyssa and Chef Ialith delivered ameal to remember. The Food & Fire globe Dinning experience is worth the drive. Read more
I'm on the fence between a 3.5 and a 4 star. We had reservations for 6 people and when we arrived we were informed we only had... an hour and 45 minute table time as they needed our table. Which was a first for all of us, but ok. The servers were pleasantbut rushed. Our food was incredible. However it is quite expensive for the portion size. When it was time for us to leave wepaid our bill and retired from the nearly empty restaurant to the hotel bar (physical the next wall over). The restaurantremained basically empty all night. I wouldn't tell anyone not to go, but we will not be going back. We are all local residentsand are quite disappointed as we've previously had great experiences. We went to the cabin restaurant last night for my birthday, we had Jarek as our server. We were debating between a few bottles... of wine but were told the bar was “too busy” for us to try a sample before committing to a bottle. For a fine diningestablishment the standard for wine was very disappointing. The wine experience was very disappointing but the food was great.We had a small seafood salad and the bread with the squash butter was delicious. Our pastas were also very tasty. Overall foodwas delicious, it’s unfortunate the bar situation put a damper on the night. Read more
We both got the Kobe Burger, one with a side of truffle fries, the other with a side of Kale Salad. The burger was excellent,... gigantic and delicious! Why I'm giving 3 stars was because our spot on the patio had a swarm of flies, it only seemed to be ourspot, it was so uncomfortable we had difficulty eating. The waitress was nice enough to seat us inside when we asked but if atable is visibly not having a good time and is being swarmed by flies I think it should've been offered already to sit somewhereelse. I have to update my last review as I have visited Cabin and Babbo (same kitchen) several times since my last experience and I... must say things were excellent both with service and the food. I am not sure if I and the kitchen were off that day but it isgreat to have our regular go to back on as a great option to enjoy a drop in lunch or a beautiful dinner. One thing I must sayis that given all of the staffing shortages all places are facing they are doing a great job with hiring and training servingstaff. Also a big shout out to Kendra who made our last visit so special when she brought us a beautiful decorated board ofdesserts for our anniversary. Read more
