The male waiter didn?t bring our straws, refill our drinks, or check on any tables. Scratched under his pants in front of the... table and didn?t wash his hands. Only brought my grits but not my waffle, my partner got all his food. I asked if my waffle wason the bill he just handed us and he said ?yeah, it?s over there.? After about ten more minutes of waiting and the waitersitting in a booth across the restaurant, we got up to pay. We asked they take the waffle off the bill, while a female cook tookit out of the maker (burned) in a to go plate. The male waiter said ?they kept burning? and I said that?s fine but you didn?tlet us know and I wanted it with my dinner. Terrible service. Read more
The place was clean the service was in my opinion above average for the amount of costumers there at the time. The food was... waffle house greatness that I look forward to enjoying again in the near future. Better than other locations I've visited in thepast. Read more
One of my favorite places to go and feel comfy. The staff is great and they remember you when you are a frequent guest.
Went last night with my husband. There was only 1 other table of customers in entire restaurant. 2 cooks and a male waiter.... Service was horrible and a hair was in my husband's food. We got food and they didn't bring coffee or my drink. I had to get upto let them know we needed our drinks. Not once did they come to see if we needed anything and it took 30 minutes for them toget our order. Read more
Best service we have ever received at a Waffle House. Everyone worked as a team and were kind and courteous to each other. We've... seen employees fist fight before in our local Waffle House. This was a great experience. Food was great too and wait was notime because everyone worked so well together. Read more
Absolutely worst experience I've had at a waffle House, have been going to waffle houses for 30years, have always loved the 24... hour convenience and All day breakfast and friendly service, arrived at 355am only 5 customer's inside, 415 before anyoneacknowledged us, asked what we wanted to drink, told him coffee, got coffee at 430, he took order then for food, by 455, stillno food but we counted 8 other patrons came in were served and brought their food, we are Caucasian Canadians and have neverexperienced this kind of racist treatment in our lives, we left money on table at 5am and walked out without getting our foodand upon leaving noticed the young man who served us make a point of dumping a plate of food into the trash and grinning as wewalked out. Will never eat at waffle House again. Shameful treatment!!! Read more
Im at the Waffle House on 601 Orangeburg SC. I walked at 11:15 pm and for sone reason they are not taking any more orders!
If I could give negative stars I would Went on Monday 11/14/22 at 8pm after traveling for 14 hours to the Orangeburg, SC Waffle... House. Pulled up and watched a young man walk in and sit at counter. We walked in right behind him. They refused to serve usanything but to go. They said they were scrubbing the floors and we could get to go but they wouldn't let us sit. When I askedabout the young man who walked in right in front of us, they said they took his order already so they were going to serve him(literally walked in 30 seconds behind him) Never have I been to a waffle house and been told they wouldn't serve us in thedining room. Very easily could have shut down 1/2 the dining room to scrub while keeping the other half open (the only customersthere were us and the young man at the counter) Took my money and my business to a different restaurant that night and thenagain 1 week later when we stopped in Orangeburg, SC for the night on our way home Read more
