There were no cars when we arrived so at first it seemed a bit sketch. But once we decided to stay the cars started piling in. I... spoke to a local and he told us the food is good. Seafood WAS good, tender and not overcooked. The portions were right for theprice, the service was pretty fast and the sauce was very tasty. Dine in is closed but there are outside tables. This is an excellent place for fresh fish, seafood, and even chicken wings. You can call ahead and pick up at the window. The... food is excellent. I have enjoyed every dish I have purchased from here. The staff and owners are very friendly, customeroriented and take great care to be sure their finished product is excellent. The food was prepared quickly but unfortunately it was grossly underwhelming. No flavor at all on the fried combo although the... flounder wasn't too bad; very light and edible. Not a speck of salt on the fries and the shrimp wasn't battered, just friednaked. Oh the tarter sauce helped boost the fried combo flavor. The steamed combo had decent superficial flavor. This place is off the main road and kinda hidden. I had the red snapper and fried shrimp. The dining room was closed and so we... ate outside in 47° weather. My fish was just ok and didn?t taste like snapper. The shrimp were overcooked and very dry. Myfriends oyster were just ok also. They do not give refills on drinks they make. Will not be back. My steamed platter was the best food decision I have made all year!!!! So very delicious! My steamed shrimp was a bit over... cooked, but everything else was perfect! Fresh! Steamed scallops and snapper were amazing! Great flavors without overpoweringthe natural flavors of the seafood! Can't wait to go back for more. First meal while visiting my college student. Staff was very courteous, Friendly, Helpful and knowledgeable about EVERYTHING they serve. Food was Fresh, Hot and Made to... order. Seating inside and outside. I was very pleased. I would eat there again and so should you. Read more
