Arrived. 7:15 PM. Sign in door said trivet threw only. Explains why there were 10 cars in line. So got in line. Several cars in... the line got tired of waiting and drove off. We could see about 5 people inside having dinner. They stopped eating and went towork behind the counter. Got to the drive thru order screen at 7:45. Waited another 25 minutes, so finally got the order at8:15 at night. Read more
I usually get the lobster rolls when I visit Captain D's, which I love. The fish tastes great as long as it's hot. The funnel... cake fries also taste exceptionally well. Read more
Well I don't know where to start exactly but I guess we'll start from the beginning: pulled up and parked and come to find out... I'm guessing no inside service and of course the line was almost out the parking lot. Ordered the new spicy fish and shrimpwhich was a little spicy but definitely overcooked, the fries had no salt on them, but the fried okra was spot on. Definitely WAS a favorite for beer battered fish - when it's done right. Not sure what is going on here but the batter was... abnormally dry and not beer battered at all. Service and cleanliness is quite sketchy! Cashier touching mouth then debit cardand scratching her scalp then the bag.....its still pandemic. Meal was incomplete - no hush puppies nor the extra ones paid for,no condiments at all, no napkins, no sodas available. I don't know why I took & attempted to eat this meal. Read more
My husband and I both received a promotional offer for a free fish and fries plate when we signed up. But ended up not... receiving it. We tried to multiple times but because of it being so slow we left just couldn't wait any longer one of the timesI know we waited 45 minutes before leaving. The day it expired was on Black Friday . We tried that day and actually got to placethe order but was told they didn't have the fish and we couldn't get the promotion. I went through too much headache with alotof determination to be turned down and not get anything . Pretty disappointed not sure who could fix it because they wouldn'thelp with that information.
