I got the spring rolls, house special noodle soup and the avocado milk tea smoothie with boba. Any time I go to a Vietnamese... restaurant, that?s my go to. This was my first time trying this restaurant and unfortunately, I didn?t meet my expectations. Thebroth was not savory, the hoisin and sriracha couldn?t help it. The meat was sliced so long, it was hard to chew at certainpoints. The noodles were all clumped together. There was no line, bean sprouts, only a lot of cabbage and some basil. The springrolls at first were great until I reached soggy lettuce and I didn?t taste great. The peanut sauce was chalky. The avocadosmoothie had a great taste, but the boba was not. Read more
This restaurant can be a hit and a miss depending on who's in the kitchen. What really brings us in though is the fact that my... kids love their milk tea and my favorite vietnamese restaurant doesn't sell milk tea. That by itself makes this restaurant worthwhile to me. Pros: It's a nice clean restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The front house staff have always been friendly. The food, depending on what you order comes fairly traditional. My kiddos enjoy the pork dinner with the sunny side up egg onthe rice. I enjoy the house pho which has everything including tripe. We also like to get the calamari and extra pickled carrotsand radish. Cons: The back of the house staff can be inconsistent with their quality. A few months ago there was a chef whospecifically ignored what was being ordered. Example of such, we order our eggs sunny side up, he sent them out fried hard evenafter the waiter attempted to correct him several times. I felt so bad watching the waiter attempt to get the order correctedthat I waved him over to tell him it's fine. Another incident was ordering calamari and getting the fried shrimp instead. However that issue has seemingly been solved since then. But either due to supply chain issues or staffing issues. Theinconsistencies still stand. Read more
Ended up leaving without eating. Saw another table that came in do the same. The waitress took our order without a booklet or... anything to write it down. So when our appetizers came out, we were missing one. Then one out of the three of us got ournoodles. Eventually he was already done eating and the other two of us still didn't get our noodles yet. Not sure if it was thewaitress who forgot our order since she didn't write it down, or if it was the kitchen's fault. We knew something was offbecause other tables that came in after us had already got their main dishes and we still hadn't. Disappointed and won't becoming back. Read more
i typically do not write reviews unless i need to. i decided i want pho around the area and didn?t want to drive 30 mins to... southside. i ask my boyfriend to order and he brought back home pho. surprisingly there is no bean sprouts, lime, mint, orsauces with my order. what is pho with the other stuff? I paid $12 for a large house special and it is so little. paying thesame price eating in and out but different amount is kinda ridiculous. i wish the broth is more savory. plus why is the meat notcut??????? it?s soo long????????????????????. instant pho literally taste like this? if anyone is looking for delicious pho, iwould recommend you driving 30 mins away that is worth your money.
