First time reviewer here. Thought we'd try this hole in the wall restaurant on our way home. My beans and rice tasted like an... ashtray. Couldn't even finish my meal because one bite of the beans ruined my palate. :( $32 for 1 burrito, two tacos withrice and beans and 1 tea. Waitress was nice and understanding and I felt terrible for telling her this but I didn't know if itwas supposed to have this taste but it's just not for me. Going to brush my teeth immediately. First time eating here. Closest I have tasted to SoCal Mexican food. Probably tried 5 different Mexican Restaurants in Clay... County and this is the best! Definitely will be returning with my family soon! Read more

This food was amazing! The staff were very nice and accommodating. Authentic and delicious food. Cozy Cafe style restaurant in a... mini strip mall. It is in a very unassuming location. The amount of food and the decadent flavors were very worth the trip andvery affordable. I live about an hour and a half away and I plan to go there again. Read more

Food is good & flavors are there but they con with the prices. The bill said under $25 when she charged me- she ran my card for... $28.00+ When i asked she said oh- & gave me back $2 in cash.. this is the 2nd time i have experienced this. They told me thatthey?ll tell me the price when i get there bc she didnt have the menu infront of her? i now have trust issue with thisrestaurant & the last time they charged us $5 extra on top of our food which is why i paid so much attention to the bill thistime.. beware of your bill!!! This place has changed so much since the most recent name change from La Perla. Everything I normally order is smaller, doesn't... taste as good and has increased in price . The pupusas are so small and mostly dough $4 each. The guacamole is a joke for $5,mostly tomatoes and onions and you can tell it's old by the minimal brown avocado bits. The tacos have hardly any meat. Thechips are stale and the nachos look like they were just thrown together cheaply not authentic at all. Overall I have triedseveral times to give this place a chance for adjustments but it's a hard NO for me now. I completely understand the state ofthe economy and difficulty acquiring certain items but the prices do not justify the taste at all. Read more

Man, this place is great! The food is all wonderful, the people are nice and there's enough variety on the menu that you can get... something delicious every different time you go in. I can't stop going; even though it's a half-an-hour drive for me. Eventhough I was there last week and yesterday, I'm seriously considering returning tonight! Read more

I am completely amazed at this small start up restaurant in Orange Park, FL! My husband is Mexican and we have been trying for... years to find authentic tacos and tortas in Jacksonville and we just found the right spot! The owner is amazing! She was veryattentive and kept the place very clean and organized. You won't find this type of cooking anywhere else in Jacksonville. Thankyou guys so much for a great experience! Read more
