This is a great little neighborhood place to get sushi. I meet friends here for sushi all the time after work. This place has a... busy take out business. I like the selections of sushi and I am totally okay with the dine in area not being fancy. I?m therefor the food. The people who wait on us are very kind. I love the spicy Salmon and Yellow Fin Tuna rolls. I just went for alunch special and had the clear soup with my lunch and it is very good. Literally, a hole in the wall. You can't even see in the place because there's black...vinyl I guess? lining the windows. And... some black duck tape, ha! There was 1 person at the sushi bar when we came in, and 2 to-go orders picked up. It wasn't busy buty'all, go here! Keep them in business! The Clear Soup was DELICIOUS! Not too salt and definitely flavorful; it wasn't watereddown broth. And on the watered-down topic, the Shrimp Sauce was great too! Not too watered down and full of flavor. My daughterordered the Chicken Hibachi for she and I to share. Note: it was dinner time but our waitress said she'd give her the lunchportion so it would be smaller. How kind of her to offer! But we said no, we wanted to dinner. The baby loves mushrooms(strange, right?) so that was the first veggie I grabbed. I ate it. I kid you not, I am not exaggerating, it tasted 110% likeMarsala Sauce. Like, Italian Food. Chicken Marsala. We were cracking up! It wasn't bad by any means, but it was NOT an expectedflavor! I expected that signature hibachi flavor, not marsala. And yes, the entire dish the entire time tasted like Marsala. Myhusband ordered the Teriyaki Chicken. He enjoyed it...I had a bite and their teriyaki sauce didn't jump out at me. It could havebeen the "marsala" was still overwhelming my palate. I didn't find it flavorful. The fried rice my daughter wasn't crazy about.My husband and I didn't mind it; he said there was a "different" flavor to it and he was right, but neither of us could quiteplace what it was.
