I?ve heard of Grumpy?s for awhile and finally was able to experience this restaurant first hand. Over all this is a great... breakfast joint with friendly staff and a positive ambiance. As you can see the prices won?t break your wallet and the food wasflavorful. I ate alone on a Saturday which only took approximately 30 mins for a table. After placing my order, my platearrived 15 minutes later. ???????? ???????? Here is a word of advice however; I recommend skipping this place on a rainy day???? ??. The parking lot has numerous pools of water to wet your shoes and this particular establishment has a tin roof. Thesound of hundreds rain droplets striking the tin roof was almost too much. There was a long wait, but I learned they do call aheads. As for the food, the bacon was thinner than I liked (should have been... thick cut at that price). The seafood omelet was fantastic. I really liked the crab cakes. The orange juice was freshlysqueezed, but I would have liked it chilled some. Overall the food was great. The service was friendly and the meal was broughtout quick. Overall, it was a good experience. Read more

The fresh squeezed oj is a rare treat. The special blend and ground in house coffee was delicious. The rye toast so fluffy. ... The service was excellent and the owner stopped by the table a fee times. Not a grumpy employee in the place. Highlyrecommend. Read more

Absolutely loved the waffle. I don't like sweet waffles and these were perfect. I really wanted to love the potatoes so bad but... I couldn't overlook the lack of seasoning. Looking at them you may think they are seasoned fries but they are not. The bacon andeggs was great. The coffee was hot and pretty good. They have a fresh squeezed orange juice machine which we got a see whilepassing. The place isn't huge inside so expect to wait. 4 star because the staff was great. Our waitress Emma was awesome. Thefood and coffee was hot, fast service (with how busy they were), and they never even rushed us. Even with the 30+ minute wait 1hour before closing. Read more

Doesn't match the name at all. Everyone was anything BUT Grumpy. Our server was so fun and efficient and pleasant. Very busy... on a Friday morning, but way worth the wait. "Home Fries" are a bit more like small potato wedges, but very delicious! Thepancakes were large and tasty. The waffles are HUGE! I think a "half" order is half of what my pic shows. They have dailyspecials and we ordered the lucky charms waffle. The O.J. is fresh squeezed and no pulp, though I didn't care for the taste ofit as it was more tart than sweet, my table mates enjoyed it. Read more

Grumpy?s is exactly what it?s suppose to be? southern comfort food like mamma makes. Steak and eggs, grits, biscuits, and hot... coffee. Nothing fancy, just down home, stick to your ribs food. The standout dish for me is the fried chicken Benedict. It?sgood y?all! All American food, served by a friendly, hard working all American team. Read more

I FULLY understand the hype. I?m a pretty health-conscious eater, but this is absolutely worth the ?treat yo self? day and fully... indulging in a great America breakfast. Highlight for me was definitely the seafood omelette - but you can?t go wrong with thecinnamon roll pancakes (which are HUGE) Read more
