Reviews for OSO at Bear Point Harbor - Orange Beach in Orange Beach, AL
It’s worth the wait. I had the blackened fish tacos and a bushwacker. We all got something different and everyone was well... pleased. We were also able to watch as the fishing guides came in with there catch. We sat outside and even in the summer heatthe fans gave enough air to make it manageable. Read more
My family and I visited OSO while vacationing in Orange Beach. We went with the loaded tater tots for an appetizer and we all... very much enjoyed the ooey gooey goodness. For lunch, I went with the combo platter, my wife went with the fried fish sandwich,my daughter with pasta alfredo, and my son with fried chicken tenders. We were all happy with our food as well as the service. Read more
Checked out this joint as it was nearby our Airbnb during our stay in OB. It has a great back porch that opens up on the bay and... marina. I had wings that were smoked then flash fried and were really good! Drinks are good and the painkiller seems thestrongest. Bartenders and waitresses were very friendly and easy to talk to. My bartender was called Moonshine, great attitudeand cool guy! Would visit again. Read more
Sat at the outside bar, wonderful service, took the recommendation of grouper sandwich. Doesn’t need the top half of the bun,... for a lunch, you get plenty of French fries. But I bet if you stay and enjoy the view with a few beverages that top half comesin handy! Great sandwich, good value, awesome service! Read more
We got the calamari for an appetizer. I think the peppers were not necessary but whatever. The calamari rings were standard fare... and the whole squid pieces were heavily battered. The remoulade was very similar to the one at OSO early. No big deal. Thefish cakes were good and were not overly dense with breading. The gumbo was a succotash style with tomatoes okra and spicysausage. Now let’s get to the good stuff. Sautéed crab claws. The biggest I think I’ve ever seen. And what I guessed was ahomemade beurre blanc with fresh real minced garlic obviously not from a jar. Awesome toasted and buttered soft French bread. This dish is a must. But it got better. The tuna bowl was impressive. And I’m talking about the large slices of the freshestmost tender tuna I have had. And that perfect seasoning on top. This tuna is on a top list for me. The other components werealso very good. I had the fried grouper? sandwich. This crust was light and very crisp and the fish was piping hot, tender, andnot dry. The bread was tender, not dry, with a light chew. In all it was an excellent sandwich and I highly recommend it. Thegrilled veggies were very good as was the homemade bread and butter style pickle garnish on top. Read more

We absolutely love this place! It's been on our list of places to eat the past two times we've visited the area. The food is... delicious and service is great. The tuna bowl is amazing. The fish tacos and gumbo are fabulous as well. If it's warm enoughdefinitely sit outside. Read more
This restaurant was ok. Things I loved were the restaurant is on the water at the marina, so the view is nice especially if you... sit outside. The atmosphere is casual and light. The wait staff are attentive and happy. The food is typical. I ordered theshrimp skewers with grilled pineapple salsa. I got the grilled veggies as my side. I had a different picture in mind than whatwas presented. The pineapple salsa was finely dice, mushy, green, and only about a teaspoon worth. The cilantro rice was notmixed completely so there were spots of lots of cilantro and other spots just white rice. And I don't usually think of cabbageas a grilled vegetable but there was a lot of it. I liked the food enough especially the shrimp but it didn't come as Ipictured it would. All other dishes of my family looked and tasted great. So, I would return, I'd just ask more questionsabout my order first. Last thing, they have an outdoor bar area basically attached to the restaurant and the music was very, very loud. Read more
