Did a In-person takeout order and when I reviewed my receipt after my vacation I seen that a 10% gratuity tip was automatically... added even though I specifically chose “no tip” before I signing for my order. It was not posted in the area of the storewhere I placed my to go order or written on the receipt . I called to ask a manger if this was their policy. I was told by themanager named William that they started that policy this year of added a gratuity tip to all orders…..strange that I was evenallowed to choose “no tip” before signing the electronic bill. I am not in the habit of giving a 10% tip for a to-go order Iplaced in person. The food was okay. Sides on platter weren’t anything special. Shrimp was good. Not enough sauce wasprovided. Good selection of food. Very good fried shrimp. Atmosphere was nice outside, the fans helped keep us cooled off. Waiter was on... pretty attentive with refills and asking us if we needed anything. I recommend Doc's Seafood and Steaks. Read more

I had a great meal tonight fried Oysters and clams. I loved making my own cocktail sauce and the oysters where the best I had. ... Services was very good, as Hanna at the bar took care of me and food was served with in minutes of it being ordered. Really cool place to eat!!!! Christy was our waitress and took great care of us. Really cool gift shop with a fun hat for crab... finding. Food was good! Love that they brought pitches for us to refill out tea and water from the very beginning of our meal..so we were never without beverages. Read more

Clean, fast service & kind staff. Showed up at 5 & people were pouring in. The wait for 2 wasn't going to be long, but we asked... to be seated at the bar & were automatically seated there & food order taken. We had our food within 10 minutes! The 2 womanbehind the bar were kind & very efficient with the loads of people coming in. Food was good, the shrimp is as advertised, thebest on the strip by far. Big, juicy & not over breaded. Gumbo was delicious. The seafood was really good and good size portions. Slaw was the only thing that wasn't great. Food came... out very quickly. The server we had was one of the rudest I've ever had in any restaurant. I don't know if she was having a badday or what but it was absolutely horrible until tip time when she decided to at least give a quarter effort to beingdecent. The best grilled shrimp I've had in a very long time, maybe ever? The fried shrimp and fish were also delicious. Fries weren't... very good and the margarita was an absolute rip off, do not spend twelve bucks. There was a Dixie cup amount of margarita in theglass chock full of ice = that was very disappointing. The service was good and the atmosphere was great so overall it was avery good experience and we will be back! Just skip the alcohol here lol. Read more
