This location is so close to our house and the most convenient. We don?t expert stellar service considering we?re just ordering... pizza, and have given this location numerous chances to do better than the last. As of right now, it?s been 2 hours since weordered, and I can walk to the store in 5 mins. We called 35mins ago and we?re told it?s ?en route? which means 1 of 2 things:1- they lied or 2- we?re going to get cold pizza... both of which are not ok. Only order from here if you don?t have a housefull of impatient hungry boys, and have 2+ hours to wait. Read more
Web order said 20 - 30 mins, called when it hadn't arrived an hour later. Got put on hold immediately and hung up after 5... minutes. Called back and a different person answered. I asked her why was I on hold for 5 minutes before and she just stammeredand asked if she could take my order. I told her no that I had an order already in and where was it. She said they had gotten"slammed" and it was out for delivery. I informed her that the web screen said 20-30 minutes and she said that it wasn't up todate with how things were in the store (which is a lie, my boyfriend worked there before) and that they had "15 orders and only3 drivers". When I met that response with silence she asked if she should give me a discount and I said yes that would beappreciated. So now my 10$ order was 7.55$ ... yay. When it finally arrived it was cold. I'm not one to leave a review of fastfood chains. However this joint needs some attention. The pizza comes barely warm and worse... part is when i ordered cinnamon rolls they never gave them to me stealing $5. I normally don't have sweats from food chainscause I like them homemade, but due to circumstances and things going on with a preemie baby i needed a mom break and got some.Worse place to go if your looking for a little cheering up. I am only giving it a two because usually the pizzas are good, other that that their service is garbage. Every damn time I order... a pizza it takes 30 minutes at least. Tonight was my final annoyance with pizza hut it took me an hour for carry out. Granted, Idid notice the page said it would take 45 minutes to 55 minutes. I arrived at about 30 minutes. Took anyone in the restaurant toacknowledge I was in the place waiting to pay at least. There were other people waiting as well after I paid, they had the sameexperience. I understand it is a Friday night. I do, I have worked in a Dominos which makes it even more laughable that PizzaHut is trying to compete with them because you all need to up them carry out times. An oven takes roughly 8 minutes to push outan item, at least it did where I worked. That would be 8 minutes plus the time it takes to prep the food. Of course there areprobably other orders before mine, however it doesn't take a damn hour to prep my one pizza and shove it through. That's noteven the worst part either. Even when we had mass orders, we could still push out single or smaller orders along side themassive ones. There is just little excuse except poor management. The thing I find funnier in all this is that Pizza Hut has preshaped pizzas, while Dominos has to hand roll theirs every time and they still manage to push out orders fairly quick. At about50 minutes, they tell me they have remake my order. Seriously. I wonder if they ever made it in the first place because while Iwas waiting two of the female employees were going through receipts. Not sure what that was about, but they seemed lost. Perhapsthey couldn't keep track of what was done or not. The incompetence doesn't stop there either. I am shown my pizza when I finallyget it, and it has a weird hole in the pizza (see picture). Worst experience ever for a pizza hut. Night manager supposedly named "Ami" was shouting while on speakerphone from the get go... from simply explaining our situation very calmly and politely with no negative emotions, also not letting us finish a sentenceat all for simply asking for wings to be taken off our order. Pizza came thirty minutes after order which was great but we hadordered six wings that showed up an hour later, our hotel was literally next door. When the wings finally arrived, there wasonly four and she argued about the times even though we have it on the cellphone call log. We were trying to be very cordial andspeak calmly and even quietly to combat her yelling and aggressiveness but to no avail. We recorded the phone call from anotherphone in case our card is in fact not credited for the purchase as she said it would be. We weren't even going to give issueabout the pizza being terribly overcooked but that was an issue as well. I would avoid this establishment at all cost. Read more
The pizza was great and they deliver. They are typically short on staff.
Ordered a pizza tonight at 8:01 pm. Got the time off of my phone. At 9:20 still no pizza. I called them back thinking that... something surely had to be wrong since I was told when I placed my order that it would be 35 minutes for delivery. Spoke withthe person who answered the phone and was informed that there were only two drivers working tonight and that my order would bedelivered whenever one became available. Why wasn't I told this when I placed my order. Would have picked it up if I knew itwas going to take almost 1hr40min to get it. Driver stated he didn't see my house when in fact all of my perimeter lights wereon. Only house lit up on the street. Pizza was cold and salty. Couldn't eat it. This is my second time having a badexperience with pizza hut in Orange. Won't eat there again. I am normally generous with tips because I don't mind paying forgood quality food and great service, but you guys failed in both areas. Had to even listen to the delivery driver express to mehow he hates his job. Well guess what! Find another one. Its strange how two different locations can operate so differently. I frequent the location in Sulphur La on Ruth street and my food and service is always great there. I'm sure this is areflection of different management. I can't tell you how tired I am of Pizza Hut in Orange. The last four times in a row (not counting the times before)my pizza... has either been wrong or just thrown together. Someone needs to check the orders before they go out. Read more
