WOW!!!! My husband and I stopped here for lunch and the crew was AWESOME! ???? Angel was amazing! She gave us samples and her... and the cashier were so nice and friendly! It's so refreshing to come into a business where people are happy at work!!!! Therewere 2 other people working and they came to the table to see if we needed anything! The food is AMAZING! Love this place! Employees are super outgoing and accommodating. If it's your first time be prepared for the royal treatment. ... The food is excellent. Huge menu , two types of brisket, tender and lean and I can't recommend the lean enough. So nice not topay for fat! Ribs are fall off the bone, meaty and flavorful. Tasty sides, lots of choices for drinks, bottles and fountain. Six different BBQ sauces in squirt bottles at each table. Prices are very reasonable for large portions. Counter service,nothing fancy but interesting pictures and military memorabilia, including tank out front. If you're there at noon expect apatriot surprise. Stumbled into this place by taking the wrong exit off the highway. Best mistake ever!!! The Smoked Ribeye was the special, it... was absolutely amazing. Tons of flavor. The staff was awesome and I loved the overall feel of the place. I was shocked to seethere wasn't mashed potatoes on the menu. The food was great. I'll definitely be back. Read more
Today was my first time trying MISSION BBQ! The service and food was exceptional! I had no clue what to get, but a new hire name... Ricky gave great suggestions for my family and I! Thanks again Ricky! The baby back ribs fell off the bone, the brisket wasamazing and the juicy Lucy burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had! The sides were amazing! My wife and I went here for the first time and I got the "BAY-b-back ribs" and my wife got the "Half a Yard Bird" Chicken. We... both got a XL combo with Maggie's Mac-N-Cheese. I loved mine but she did not like hers so much and she was left feeling notfull. she also felt like the outside of the chicken was extremely flavorful but the inside of it was bland. The food was an sign the brisket sandwich had full of flavour. The fries are not frozen. The banana pudding was really good, and... even for it?s price I thought it as worth it. Mac and cheese was good but I think there are better things on the menu. Overallthe place was clean staff was nice and my experience was a 5/5 I don?t think any of the food was bad so hopefully the next timeago it would be the same. Read more
My friend and I were visiting New Haven from NYC and decided we'd pop in for lunch as we headed back home. The atmosphere is... very inviting and so is the staff. They have a great menu selection and it didn't take long for our food to come. My friend hadthe meatloaf with mac & cheese, cornbread, apple cobbler and an unsweetened tea. I had the pulled chicken, mac & cheese and asweet tea lemonade mix. I wish I had two sides of mac, it was sooooo goood lol. I have to go back when I visit again. Read more
