Reviews for Ube Belly Filipino Cuisine in Orange, CA
Great spot for some comfort filipino cuisine! Stopped by here for the first time for some dinner take-out. Service was wonderful... and food like it was homemade. Looking forward to coming back to try more! Read more
Tasty authentic Filipino food. Fulfilled my sisig craving.
Great portions and excellent selection of food.
Really impressed with their takeout. The food is flavorful without being too salty. Great portions. Highly recommend!
Very clean, reasonably priced home cooked Filipino food with generous servings.
Owner is stingy and petty. First time he put one entree in a tiny container (the smallest one they have) yet charged the same... price. Second time was near closing and chose an entree with one serving left in the pan. Instead of giving me all of it he leftthree pieces of vegetables in the pan. We busted out laughing at his greediness as soon as we left. He was nice first visit thengrumpy, quiet and sullen on last few visits. We tried talking to him and it was so awkward. It is also pretty expensive and thefood isn't seasoned well. Main owner also wasn't wearing a mask last few visits so we doubted hygiene of not only him but thefood. It says alot if we will drive 30 mins just to avoid this place but his bad attitude just isn't worth our money. Read more
The food was ok looks very clean on the inside of the restaurant, the restrooms however were not very clean at all. The staff... running the restaurant was great especially the main server. The only staff issue was the older lady that came out to clean shewas very grumpy and impatient. She took our food while I was boxing it up. Read more
My husband & I were in the Honda Center area for a concert and craving a good meal right before, so I happened to pick this... Filipino food restaurant to try. Our Uber got us to the restaurant 20 minutes before closing & while I felt rude of us to bargein almost last-minute, the man (owner?) actually welcomed us in warmly & allowed us to browse through what they had left for theday. We weren't familiar with some other selections, so I asked about them & again, the man working at the counter explainedthe food selections in a friendly manner. After choosing what we wanted to eat, he also piled on the food generously (as I thinkit was the end of the day). Sheepishly we asked if we would still be allowed to eat in the little dining area & were told thatthere was no rush (but of course we ate as quickly as we could). Photos are of their pancit & chicken adobo, my husband REALLYenjoyed his sisig and beef bistek. For us, this was an example of true Filipino hospitality and the food was delicious as well.We will be back again should we be in the area, maraming salamat po! ???????? Read more
