If I could rate this garbage a 'zero',, I would. I ordered a 12 piece at 5:15 pm on 07/12/22. It was anything but fresh. The... corn was dark brown, the rice was burnt as it was also partly brown, and the chix was dry. It had been cooking on the grill forsometime. The fact that this stuff was served to us is just beyond stupid workers. It's was a deliberate state of lack ofcustomer service. Phone calls to the company cs line have been met with silence from the store itself. I won't ever recommendanyone going to this screwed up location. Follow up: The store did reach out. Instead of a refund, they want to give me freefood. Did they NOT see what their food looks like? I've not taken them up on their offer. Read more

The chicken was old, the service was slow and they just seemed like they didn't want to be there. Everything tasted stale my... husband was preparing for surgery down the street so I didn't have time to take everything back it was $26.79 in the trash sosad. It's ok needs cleaning, chicken is ok salsas nah no more of that Picode Gallo is gone they would only give u tomato sauce ... and avocado sauce is a joke now. Needs a lot of improvement and not enough people working there either. I went to El Pollo Loco yesterday to pick up dinner because our refrigerator is not working hopefully new refrigerator will... arrive by Friday. I needed to get dinner and said I hadn't been to El Pollo Loco in a while because my last experience here awhile back food wasn't that good and I was hoping the quality of the food had improved. When I arrived there were about 10 carsin line I was willing to wait I thought the more people that were there increased my chances of getting fresh food butunfortunately I was totally disappointed I got my order the person at the window was friendly I drove off decided I would try apiece of the chicken since I was hungry to eat on the way home I took a bite and was totally totally disappointed the food wascold It tasted like it had been in the refrigerator the meat was dry no moisture. I can tell that it hadn't been cooked that dayand had never been marinated it had no flavor. The side orders mashed potatoes and beans were hot they were made fresh but themeat sadly no good. To many restaurants are precooking meat and it is not the same as fresh cooked meat. I didn't want to goback and get in line again to return food, so I drove into the nearest gas station tossed both dinners in the trash can. Myhusband and I both agreed we will never go to a El Pollo Loco again. I can't wait for the new refrigerator to arrive so I canget back to cooking my own home cooked meals. Read more

I live right down the street, and my family LOVES El Pollo Loco, so I have picked up dinner in the drive-thru a couple times... around 8pm. Tonight, I got the Classic Tostada, was not given any dressing for it, a large chicken tortilla soup, which wasbarely warm, and a large side of broccoli, which was surprisingly hot. My food has never been warm except the side of broccoli.I gave my 1.5 year old some of the broccoli, which he ate, and when I went to eat the rest I noticed something on one of thebroccoli...a WORM in a WEB! I was so disgusted and horrified to think my child may have eaten one! We will not be eating hereagain. Read more
This is the only El Pollo Loco I?ve been to that is horrible in every aspect. The service and food are the worst by far. Many... times when ordering, I need to repeat myself and really shouldn?t have to because I am speaking pretty clearly. On almost alloccasions, my order has something wrong with it or something is missing. When asking for salsa, you should ask for double theamount that you need because they hardly fill the little containers. Multiple times I?ve tried to go inside and eat in the dinein area past 7pm and the doors were already closed when the sign in the window shows they should be open.
