Legit, delicious Cajun food. I have tried the Shrimp Poboy, Chicken Sandwich, Potato Salad, Corn Maque Choux, Boudin Balls,... Tasso Gravy Fries, Jalapeño Coleslaw, and several daily specials including a pork dish and a shrimp & catfish special. Wow. Thestaff is very welcoming, and portions are generous. I really hope this restaurant goes far. My family and I will absolutely be return customers. The food here is hands down... unbeatable for the local area. The quality of the food was PERFECT as well as the portions. Their food is definitely a "savethat for later " portion. In my opinion it is 100% worth the money. The customer service was great. We were greeted by thedrive-thru attendant with a smile and a menu. She was knowledgeable and gave us a great opinion on her personal favorites as wewere first timers, but not last timers. If anyone in the Opelousas area or farther is looking for a great locally ownedrestaurant this is the place to go. And to further the "locally owned" part... the owner is a Veteran! I am happy to be insupport of this up and coming restaurant. Shopping local positively impacts our local community and I definitely encourageeveryone to try this restaurant out.
