My burger was disgusting. The hole order was wrong. Long wait even after I had called it in. It sad when you go to restaurants... and some time the food good , then you go back and it not. If they get good cooks they need to do all they can to keep them. Notgoing back no time soon. Read more
They have the best hamburgers around Opelousas and have been around, to by knowledge, since the 1940s (World War 2 era). It... used to be a take out only place at the time when i was a kid and we used to buy hamburgers and chicken here back when I visitedmy grandmother (she died in January of 2009). I was visiting Lafayette and came down to Opelousas to eat here because Iremember how delicious the food was. One thing I noticed is they added the dining room which is very nice and the food is stillthe best ever, exactly like it tasted when I was a kid and when my dad was a kid. No trip to Opelousas is complete withoutstopping and eating here. This is one of my favorite places along with Soileau?s. The service here is very friendly and theatmosphere with 1950s music is wonderful. Read more

Quite possibly the best fried chicken & seasoned fries I've purchased. With the wait time, the food is prepared fresh, chicken... pieces (white) were large, well battered, seasoned with Cajun spices, served hot & was delicious. The dining area is clean andthe staff is friendly!! Read more
