Although they are short staffed the waitresses do a wonderful job. Always fast, friendly, and the food fresh and good.

I have been eating at this Waffle House for years. It's convenient location but they seem to be having problems lately. Twice... lately they were closed to dine-in. The day shift staff were terrible the last time we ate there. Basically no service. Theevening staff were better. I think it's time to look for a new place to eat. Read more
This place has problems. I politely asked Billy to remake my waffle after putting his bare, unwashed hand inside the dish. He... was doing it but was upset. I tried to converse with Billy and Dianna, but Dianna was very rude to me. I commented that everyonehas been in a bad mood and combative today, and she said I must be the "common denominator" if it was everywhere I was. I justwanted a waffle for my kid and was trying to be friendly, but they were standoffish and rude. When I asked why they're beingrude to me, Dianna told me I "need to sit down right there" and wait for my waffle. When I responded that that was not a verynice way to speak to me not a good way to speak to any customer, they said I can go somewhere else and they wouldn't serve me. Ihad already paid and had to request my money back, which they gave me. But this was uncalled for and very professional. Theyhave no idea what their customers might be going through or who they might push over the edge with their abusive, unfriendlybehavior. They should not be in the customer service business. Waffle House seems to think it's so popular that they don't haveto worry about being professional and courteous to all customers, like they can be rude to some if they feel like it and nothingwill happen. Food tastes better when it's served in a good environment. Tonight I ordered the $5 waffle, eggs, and orange juice special, and... they were probably the best waffle, eggs, and orange juice I've had for $5 thanks to Mrs. Kathy. She was a breath of fresh airon a dark, chilly Saturday night in the heart of Auburn. Love radiates from that woman. We chatted it up for quite a long time,and you could tell how much she cares about those around her. On top of that, the eggs were scrambled to perfection, the wafflewas delicious, and the juice was poured perfectly, with just enough of that foamy head you expect from a tap. Read more
