I never thought I would do this, but when 2 large pizzas with 3 toppings costs 32.00 and the menu has outdated prices,... misleading the consumer, well your old Town pizza place just ain't what it used to be. On 8-15-22 we were headed home and decided we would call Rafael?s and place to go order. First call;4:51. No one would answer.... We kept attempting to call for 6 additional times and last call we attempted was at 5:08. We assumed maybe they were closed butwhen we drove by, the sign said opened. We decided not to stop because by then we decided w pick up food somewhere else.andstill no answer. In spite of the 8-15-22 incident, we stopped by today(8-18-22) at 5:10 pm and sign said open but get this??wewere told restaurant couldn?t serve anyone because cashier was out on pizza delivery and she was only one that could take ourorder! Seriously?? The place smelled horrible so we left because we didn?t want to wait for cashier to return and the smell washorrible!!. This place used to be good back awhile ago but don?t waste your time now. If ownership can?t get this under control,no doubt they?ll be out of business soon. Such a shame. Such a disappointment?. The place honestly felt kind of gross and had a weird smell. That being said we still gave it a shot. Probably the most d minus... tier of Italian food I've ever 1 star because the pizza was edible (albeit super greasy and now the stomach is yelling a bit).The spaghetti was watery, the bread had a chemical cleaner taste to it, manicotti was bland. Salad had the most milly tomatoesI've ever seen in my life. (Midsummer mind you when tomatoes are still in decent season) Don't be fooled by the average rating.From reading this they've been around a long time and used to be good. Read more
Definitely not a repeat for me. I wanted to try a somthing different than the standard National brand pizza companies, but... was very disappointed with my experience. The pizzas were overcooked and very salty, the toppings on the Greek salad were verymeager and boring, and the red sauce offered with the side of bread was bland. Seemed like other patrons picking up food werefrustrated with service and orders not being ready when promised. My order was ready on time, but the pizza was cold whenpicked up, and I was on time for pickup. Next time I'll return to the nearby Papa John's for hot and tasty pizza. Read more
