Mountain Oaks Manor was wonderful. I had the Afternoon Tea, which is like a three course meal. They had just started serving... since of their fall recipes and I had their pumpkin butternut squash soup. It was absolutely amazing. They also made a specialBlended tea in honor of Queen Elizabeth, called Queens Jubilee. The atmosphere was very quaint and quiet. My daughter's baby shower was booked by her friend at Mountain Oaks Manor. Sonya and her staff are great! The Manor is... beautiful and the food was very good and reasonably priced. If you've never liked pimento cheese like me, you have to try theirhouse made pimento. Its a mild creamy goodness. Pairs very well with their chicken salad, which I would have said prior that Idon't care for either, but that has changed. And their house bologna sliders were great too. Visited when my daughter was in town. We went to several places while she was here, but this place was by far our favorite.... Loved the vibe. The owner was very friendly. From the first sip of the peach ???? ice tea to the last... bite of our strawberry chocolate cheesecake, it was an extraordinary experience enveloped in southern hospitality. The mansionis so elegant and the place settings were the epitome of Afternoon Tea charm. I called ahead for customization and owner Sonyawas so sweet to accommodate us with her delectable creations. Attended a baby shower. Nice historic building. Taco bar for lunch. 2 hot tea flavors. Have both intimate and larger rooms... available for events. Bathrooms located on second floor. Did not see an elevator or chair lift for handicap access. Upstairsalready decorated for Christmas. Read more
