My family and I were on the hunt for a quick but substantial bite before catching a flick right next door at Edward's. We were... not disappointed! We ordered the family meal of two different kinds of fish, shrimp and oysters plus two sides. There was plentyfor all 4 of us and then some to take home. The fish and seafood were perfectly seasoned, and fried to my preferred crispness. Iloved the collard greens and was pleasantly surprised that there was no meat whatsoever in them. This was my first time here and I ordered takeout. I got the catfish dinner with greens and potato salad. The fish was very... tasty and the greens were absolutely delicious. I'm not a huge fan of potato salad so it was okay. Very generous portions for areasonable price $15. The service was great!!! I would definitely come back if I'm in the area. Read more

This pains me to write because I had bigger expectations for this place but the food was just ok. The customer service was even... less than that. I will say that the food was fresh and hot ????. This is not a place where if I come back to CA I look to goback. Not to mention that the wait was extremely long for a few pieces of catfish, shrimp and hush puppies. I got the shrimp Po boy, fried tilapia, fried shrimp, fried oysters, red beans & rice & potato salad (shared it all with my... boyfriend & had some left over ????) it was all so good! I actually ended up getting the shrimp Po boy again the next day. Theirfry seasoning is on point & the tartar sauce too, idk if it?s made in house but it?s really good! Then menu isn?t big so youwon?t go wrong with anything. Also, I had saved half of my Po boy in the fridge to eat later in the day & it was still reallygood, the bread didn?t even get soggy. All of the fried seafood is definitely on point! my only issue is ever the side dishes. I have been to this place a handful of... times and had a handful of sides: the fries, the macaroni salad, the greens, the grilled veggies,. . . I will probably neverorder their sides again but I will keep going here for the fried seafood. The catfish is my favorite, sometimes my boyfriend andI leave with 2lbs. the shrimp, the scallops, the salmon, all amazing as well. I will keep trying their whole menu minus sides. Read more
