Reviews for Culichi Town in Ontario, CA
Wow. PLEASE stop here if you’re in town. Gorgeous, new environment. Table side tequila bar. The sushi is NEXT LEVEL (only... order 1 roll, they’re big). I can’t wait to go back and try more food! Danny was sweet and helpful. He’s new to the U.S.and the restaurant and I’m from Philly but we understood each other good enough to have everything we needed, and he evensurprised me with tamarind candy! I’d love to come back and take more pictures, try more drinks/food, visit my friend Danny, and give more reviews! Read more
Ambiance is great. Food is delicious. Staff is super friendly. Not sure why it's a 3.8?. Apparently people don't understand... the menu. Read more
My daughter and I thought we could not go wrong with Mexican food. We didn’t realize it was seafood. My daughter does not eat... seafood, however they do offer steak tacos, which is what she decided on. After waiting a while, the waitress asked if we wantedsomething to drink, I ordered a coke and some water ( it was over 100 degrees out). The waitress ok. My daughter ordered water, which the waitress said she would have to charge her for bottled water. My daughter asked if they had tap water and she toldher no. We decided to leave. Charging people for water??? What the heck???? It was a good she wasn’t having an episode fromextreme heat. SMH Read more
(Sigh) I came here with high hopes. I’m Latino. I’m giving it 3 stars out of 5. I like my food more on the spicy side. Chips... and salsa was more on the sweet side. Like almost ketchupy. My taco a la Diabla was drowned in the same consistency sauce. Likeketchupy pizza sauce. Now if they gave me a bottle of tapatio it might have made it a little better. So I will actually comeback and re-try it one more time. The presentation is absolutely beautiful, gorgeous, instagram worthy. I think this place ismore to come have a drink with a friend. Soooo not shure. Read more
Everything was great. The shrimp empanada was a tad too salty for my taste but flavor was there. Ordered their shrimp and... octopus and skirt stake with fries. Fries were medium well (soggy looking) but stake was cooked perfectly. The only down side isthat they served us bottled water ($2.50 ea) instead of tap in a glass. And the salsa for the chips didn't have any apiceycomponent, BUT it was flavorful. Great service. Everyone seemed to help each other out (servers, waiters, bus boys, etc.). Willcome back to try other options on their menu. Read more
We came here on a Friday four days after it opened. Our server was very apologetic about the long wait for drinks and food. The... food was excellent but the drinks were over priced and not strong at all. I did love the drink and guacamole cart that was goingaround. It was a lot faster than ordering from the bar. We will definitely give this place another try. It's nothing like theother Culichi Towns it reminds me of mama por dias. You can actually hear each other at this location the music isn't load. We tried the Zarandeado Fish fillet and the Temptation Sushi and both were very good, fresh and tasty. The environment is new... and has a nice decoration; however, the music was not our type( ranchera). I will come to try other dishes. Read more
Kinda loud, sports bar feel, so if your looking for a quiet evening- this is not the place. The food is great though!! Menus... are in Spanish, all staff speaks Spanish, so if you don't, you may be in for a little struggle... We had chips and guacamole, empanadas, tacos Gobenador, and I think the Panchito sushi roll... my hubby ordered Chicken milanesa- we don't recommend- dryand not very flavorful. I had a Paloma with my meal, but they have a wide variety of drinks with beautiful presentation. Alsoa bartender comes to your table with everything to make you a drink at your table as well. Service was very friendly andhelpful. A little pricey in the end, but it was great to try a new place!! Read more
