I make it my habit to stop here on annual trips to the shore areas of Eastern MD. The menu is wide and includes some ethnic... dishes I also enjoy. Food is consistently properly prepared and served hot, as well as quicky and efficiently. Staff friendlyand very well trained. They notice things I had yet to notice I might want/need and see to it that I have my needs fulfilled! Better than Mom's! Read more

I've stopped by here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Never been disappointed. Service is fast and friendly. Food is... very good. It's 5 hours from my home, but I love stopping when I am driving through the area. Read more

Stopped here on our drive back home after vacation. Our waitress was so sweet, even accommodated my son when he asked for sliced... strawberries instead of a fruit cup. The food was delicious, too. Perfect crispy bacon! Read more

Steak & Prime Rib slightly overcooked, crab soup was outstanding (don't miss it) and waitress Terry was terrific! Very... attentive to our needs, gave helpful information on Specials and made dining here a real pleasure. Read more

Food was great, but a little pricey. Waitress was nice in the beginning, but when we had a question about our bill in the end,... because of her handwriting, she got nasty. The lady at the counter was even confused about how she got the total. She (thewaitress) even continued to talk about us after she had left the counter complaining about us. We where offended by the way sheacted, especially when we wanted to make sure we gave her a fair tip. As a waitress myself, I understand if you have bad a badday, but this was just down right nasty and embarrassing. The bathrooms where disgusting and it smelled musty. The bill ended upbeing so high because they charged us almost $4 a drink, for juice. The only good thing about this place was the taste of thefood. Read more

WONDERFUL! This is your classic really good diner. The food is fresh and plentiful, simple and delicious. The meatlovers... omelette was packed with meat and cheese. Home style potatoes were delicious and not salty at all. Everyone is very welcomingand friendly. If I lived closer, I would probably be eating here multiple times per week every week. Read more

Made a spontaneous stop for breakfast driving through the Eastern Shore on a February 2022 Sunday morning, and what a delight.... The Sage Diner was packed with customers... and now I can see why. Service was impeccable... the the point that I had to remarkto my waitress that her great energy had made my day. And then the meal: For $9, I had coffee, three eggs, four link sausage, toast and a generous serving of potatoes. A HUGE meal, and all perfectly prepared. What a fun surprise... so well done... adiner that has earned its stripes! Read more

This is a true diner experience with perfectly made creamy grits, eggs made over easy, and nice bacon. A little old lady, as... friendly as can be, handles the cash drawer where you pay. Booths are roomy and comfortable and service is prompt. Recommendedfor breakfast! While not necessarily a place for a foodie, this is a no nonsense place with friendly people and staff. Read more
