me and my fiancé and her family went into the Onaway subway today, and of course I like my sandwich toasted and of course the... microwave toaster oven was down which again was understandable to a certain extent, I had asked for the bread to be microwavedit was done but at the same time the young lady with orange hair was Blatantly disrespectful and had an attitude with all of us,the workstation wasn?t cleaned after every sub, the gloves were not changed periodically in between subs like they were supposedto, neither one of the workers were doing their jobs correctly and properly on account of the customers safety in case of anyallergies, no smiles or barely any eye contact was made, didn?t greet any of the customers as they walked in the door, myfiancé?s mother had asked to make sure that no onions were put on her sub and the lady that was making my fiancé?s mothers subwas blatantly rude and said the sub wasn?t hers with an attitude, honestly I think it?s time for new management or at leastlearn to run the establishment properly and teach your employees how to greet customers and treat them with respect instead ofhaving an attitude with each and every customer that walks through the door Read more

We usually really like Subway. The toaster oven has been down for a couple of weeks, which happens. I asked the woman who was... making our subs to please microwave them before putting veggies on it. She said they were not allowed to because the subs wouldget soggy and they would get a bad review. I assured her it would be okay and that the last two times we were in there theymicrowaved them and they tasted great. She refused and told me she was the manager and said whoever it was that microwaved thembefore wasn't supposed to. She refused to heat them. I asked for veggies on the side and left with cold subs. I have nothing against employees there. However, every time I go, various times of the day, they are out of a lot of stuff. This... time, didn't have my first OR second choice of bread. I didn't want but a few things on it, of those few things, no pickles.Every time! Something needs to change. My suggestion, give other local places your business that actually know how to manage abusiness. Sorry for a poor review, just being honest. Read more

Because one star is the lowest I can go, I had to choose it. Walked in was greeted immediately, and the woman behind the counter... was filling the change sorter. She also must have cashed out a register to put a clean till in because she had a bin full ofcash and also a cash bag ready for a deposit. I thought nothing of that until she turned around and sat the bin In the smallroom in the back, walked past the sink grabbed gloves and asked what she could she get for me. My response was short and sweetwith a simple nothing, I?m not eating here. Rule number one in food service you handle money you immediately wash your handsBEFORE you put your gloves on, should be so ingrained in you to do it automatically!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Sitting and passing time before I have to go to work, I ordered a drink. The assistant... manager had to leave for an emergency and the people who came in to cover are talking very badly of her. They need to watchtheir language especially with customers in the store. If they want to complain about having to work they shouldn't have a job.The boys here made it very clear they're not happy to be here, dont like customers and show no motivation when answering thephone or interacting with customers. The assistant manager is one of the only employees who knows how to interact with acustomer properly. Overall a poor experience and a sorry excuse for a crew. Read more

Restaurant was very clean, so were the bathrooms. The worker(Angie) was very welcoming and knowledgeable. My friend with a... disability was with me, and the worker was very patient and kind in assisting that his sandwich was made to his perfection. Atthe point of checking out, I didn?t have a concern of the quality of food, because the service was so great. But the food wasgreat too. Fresh and made with care. I am a regular here and the staff, in addition to knowing my usual orders (plural!) are very friendly, always make sure you're... involved in the design of the sandwich, and keep the atmosphere fun and family-friendly. Lots of laughter behind the counter.Clean establishment, well lit, well ventilated, comfortable spaced seating. One of my favourite places to lunch! Read more
