Wife and I stopped in a little before 3 to grab something to eat, ordered and went and waited for it since we were getting it to... go. There was one guy cooking the food and a lady standing around playing with some stickers that had orange hair and talkingto him about her 17th birthday next week. Didn?t think much of it until about 15 minutes go by and we are still waiting for ourfood as again there?s only one person cooking, and he is moving about as slow as he could. Time goes by are the place isstarting to fill up as we all wait for our food. Finally we get our food bag and leave. We make it hardly out of the parkinglot and the wife realizes she didn?t get her soup, so we turn around and go back in. We tell the cashier and she tells the guycooking and says it will be out in just a second. So we go and stand and wait again. About 15 minutes later we still haven?tgotten the soup, so we ask the guy if he?s working on it and he asked us if we had our receipt. I said no, the cashier said shetalked with you, and he said he isn?t making anything without a receipt. So we go talk to the cashier again and she pulls upthe order and shows him that we did in fact order soup. So he said he will finally get it for us. A couple minutes later theorange haired lady gives us our soup and walks away. By the time get go back in our car it was almost 4. It shouldn?t take thebetter part of an hour to get a simple food order to go. The complete lack of hustle or care given just blew us away. Wewatched the orange hair lady truly struggle to toast a bagel and get the right kind of cream cheese for the customer. I get it,good help is hard to find, even more so right now, but the staff were doing nothing to help the situation. While we werewaiting 3 different people asked if they could refill the coffee and no one did, just as the phone was ringing and no one madeany effort to answer it, even while 2 of the 3 employees were just standing around. It is pretty rare for me to give poor reviews like this. I have been here multiple times and the trend is the same. The cashiers... do not seem to be trained. The service is extremely slow for a ?fast food? place. The people behind the counter are not friendlywhatsoever. I would highly recommend going to any other restaurant in the area. Very slow! Waited over an hour for our food to be ready, I've never run into this before at a Panera. Granted it was the lunch... rush and I'm sure they're short staffed, but it would have been nice to have a heads up on the wait. Would definitely goneelsewhere with my toddler. We won't be back. One of the best Panera I have ever been to. The customer service was really good. The food was yumm! I ordered chicken chipotle... pizza and the chicken almond sandwich along with tomato and chicken clear soup. The ingredients on the sandwich and pizza was sofresh I felt like it was farm fresh. There are few places I am able to eat that do not make me sick, and now that number has gotten smaller. I ordered a salad from... Panera in LaCrosse. The crew did a great job of accurately making what I asked for, avoiding allergens and following the order,but I was dismayed to find rotting romaine in my salad- not just a piece or two, that happens, but a significant portion of thesalad (see image). All other elements were great. It seemed like the heads of romaine had frozen at some point and we?re stillmixed in, greasy and wilted. I?m not from Wisconsin, but I?ve been here for work for nearly two months and have visited this location 3 times since. Each... time I?ve gone to the restaurant they have been out of one thing or another. My first time here they were out of the soup of mychoosing, the second time they had my soup but were out of bread and chips and wanted to offer me an apple or yogurt with mymeal (neither were appealing in my opinion as a side for soup). The final straw and the reason I will not be returning to thislocation was my visit on 10/21/2021. I came around 1pm and went through drive thru to place my two separate orders. I ordered aRoasted Turkey Avocado BLT and French onion soup to only be told that they were out of bacon (like what?s a BLT, without bacon?They offered to put chopped bacon on my sandwich instead). I?m used to French onion soup including croutons, but the last time Iwas at this location they failed to put a side of croutons in my bag so I thought this time I?d ask them to put them of the sidefor me. Well when I paid for my food there were no croutons in the bag so I sat at the window beeping my car horn twice just toget someone?s attention because I wanted my croutons for my soup. Only to be told that they didn?t have any, after I was toldwhile placing my order that they did. Not to mention seconds after placing my first order I placed the second order andattempted to order another Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT, only to be told that they were out, this location and their lack of anyfood actually available to order has me speechless and planning to never return. This location is severely mismanaged. When I first started coming to this location a couple years ago it was nice. Lately they... have had significant problems. The last order they gave us a completely different salad than the one ordered. There was alsoTuna smeared on the inside of the bag; Neither of us ordered Tuna. The time before that we orders the food an hour in advanceand had to wait a half hour past our order time to get our food. At the time having got off a 10 hour flight and driven 4 hoursI had no patience left. Another time I had a working lunch and everyone on the team ordered Panera for lunch to go. My meal wasmissing even though we were charged. They said they would deliver, and showed up later with the wrong sandwich. Drove over toget the right sandwich, and received the incorrect sandwich again. Even though I generally like Panera Bread I will not becoming back to this location. Read more
